I have spoken to a priest who also happens to be gay who told me that this perception of pedo priests being gays who joined up and then went insane through repressing their sexuality and then going out and fiddling kids is all wrong and completly misunderstands the nature of sexuality, not to mention is homophobic.

If you are gay you are attracted to adult men. No amount of repression can change that. Pedophiles on the other hand join the priesthood and may also be gay. But they hide amongst the general population of gay priests (which is rather astonishingly large) and are protected somewhat by the structure of the church. This could only encourage more pedos to join up, as it is a viable and safe way for them to live their lives.

It doesnt even take a convoluted thought exercise of imagining what it would be like to be a gay priest to realise this is the case. I am sure there are many members of this forum who have not had sex ever in a long time. Does this then go drive these people towards pedophillia? funny answers aside the correct answer is no. that is a ridiculous statement that only takes a moment to realise. Milo on the other hand presumably has thought about this for some time and so one can only assume he is projecting.

Sets up an arrangement to help his obese fan lose weight but it comes off like a creepy personal experiment because it doesn't sound like Milo is planning on linking up with any kind of professional who would have experience in helping people out with weight loss. Good lord, has he fallen. The moment where he pulls out the pizza was cringe and not funny at all, and stuff like that completely overshadows any good point he made about obesity. I didn't need to hear the gross chewing, or watch him check his teeth closely on the webcam, invading my personal space. Nasty!

I would feel sorry for the guy he was interviewing, but then the interviewee admitted to taking commercial airlines and basically making the airline force a thin person to sit next to him on flights. So ... That dude can go to hell. For real. I don't feel sorry for him-- I'm just complaining about how Milo completely botched this interview.

I'm all about the social pressure to get people healthy, and I'm all about calling out the fat cows who feel like they are entitled to everything, but if you want to be taken seriously in your career and you are doing an interview like this, then be more articulate. Chewing on pizza on camera and then throwing peanut gallery comments while his interviewee was talking overshadows the good stuff he asked, such as "Are you aware that you are killing yourself?"

Also, Milo is claiming to be super Catholic and all that jazz these days. He didn't act very Christian in this interview ...

Milo has become unrecognizable compared to his 2015-2016 self. He used to be a lot more articulate, at the very least. This is not the same person who was Steve Bannon's protégé six years ago. I almost can't believe it.

Reminder that Steve Bannon had a scandal down in Florida where his pedo business partner was manufacturing meth on properties he owned, and also seems to have strong ties to every weird and notable figure to come to prominence from within TradCath circles, if anything I'd say Milo is still very much on-brand for esoteric Bannonism

Honestly, this whole thing is just really degrading to actual victims of grooming, abuse and circumstances who are actually Ex-Gay. There's a lot of real, actual Christians who put in a lot of effort to getting help and reforming on what they can personally consider a more healthy lifestyle. You have to understand some of these guys are groomed by priests, Milo of all people should have sympathy for victims and Ex-Gays rather than use their identity as a cheap gimmick.
I expect Milo to be a piece of shit but this is pretty low. Ex-Gays are already shat on as ingenuine, invalid and are pretty open to being attacked socially & in the media, this just cheapens the real hardship people go through so Milo can grift another shekel.

How can people who are in favor of sex/gender conversion therapy not be in favor of sexuality conversion therapy and be remotely logically consistent?

Sex/gender conversion theraphy is usually the result of diagnosed gender dysphoria, thus a person has a mental disorder which can only really be soothed by letting the person be what they perceive themselves as. that, or getting into extremely heavy drug use or becoming Ed Gein.

Sexuality conversion therapy meanwhile tends to be thrust onto people, whether because they are young and their shitkicker parents dont want no fggits in their humble abodes, or because they percieve themselves as sinful heathens full of guilt needing to be cleansed.

I know the situations may appear "similiar" because of the word "sex", but there is a big difference between your brain telling you that you have a dick when you clearly dont, vs your brain telling you that man-ass = best ass.

edit: obviously both situations can involve a lot of abuse and gaslighting where people are forced by societal pressures, left wing or right wing, political or religious etc.

Milo’s conversion therapy program is as likely to happen as his white male scholarship fund.

Regarding the scholarship, I remember that being a breaking point with a lot of his (former) fans. This predated his appearance on Joe Rogan. Something like $100,000 was donated and the account the funds went into was his personal account. Anyone who will donate towards his conversion therapy program is a retard. Milo is incapable of doing anything other than bitching about being censored on the internet.

It was even worse, he created a firm (a LLC if I remember right) whose specifically stated purpose was to launder the money and prevent it from being reclaimed by lawsuits, arbitration etc.

Also a lot of his good stuff was written by his unpaid interns (remember Margaret MacLennan? etc) who aren't as plentyful as they used to be.
