Has YouTube ever acknowledged that Hololive exists?

Nah I can't subscribe to this.

Whatever problems Twitch has, the kind of content some other people thouroughly unrelated to Holopro make on Twitch does not affect the Holo content in any way.

The stuff that's going to affect Holopro is going to be Twitch's war on ad blocking, their absolute ass VoD player experience, and the fact that they're basically now going to war with the music industry at large.

The last two there are easily mitigated, by uploading videos and stream archives to youtube, and they had the music bit figured out long ago by sticking to in-house content or DOVA Syndrome.

In my opinion though I might take that given that YouTube's shitty moderation tooling, their trigger happy algorithms that just love to cut a broadcast short for no discernable reason, their love of demonetizing content for going so far as swearing, and incredibly shitty emote support for member/subscribers -- no really if you look in chat they're like five by five pixels.
To add to the VOD player experience part, keep in mind that if a full migration were to happen, partnering with Twitch will be a goal to maximize benefits. And Twitch bars partners from uploading VODs of their streams to other websites until a full 24 hours have passed. Also Twitch is just as likely to cut streams short for arbitrary reasons. And if the retarded anti dedication is anything to go by they'll find a way to carry their stupidity over there to make that happen as often as possible too.

For research purposes is there an archive where I can watch a few of these?
Honestly? Spankbang. Go for the harness one.

Not that I know of. However, that is probably because Twitch, and also Discord, are much more tied to that market than YT is. Those are specifically tailored for game/talk live streamers while YouTube is A) a video upload site for general perposes, and B) much older. Twitch is big but it would still like to grow its market; and HL is actually a really good source of 'less' toxicity than the streamers usually there bring.

That is a fair point. The only real reason that I would entertain them moving to Twitch is the customizable overlays and widgets Holo and the talent could take advantage of. More live interaction from the fanbase instead of the 'look to the other screen and skim the comments.'

That's part of the standard partner contract given to streamers who go to Twitch saying "I want to be a Partner, here's what I can offer you, and here's why I think I've earned ability to be a partner." That's usually still included in mega-streamers contracts like Ninja, Tyler, xQc because none of them give even half a shit about VODs, but make no mistake, if Cover brings talent over, they don't get your "typical" "just starting out" partner contracts.

Cover theoretically wouldn't have to play by those rules, they absolutely have a lot of leverage they could go to Twitch with and do actual contract negotiation with them, which may or may not include removing the 24 hour exclusivity on VoDs. It could also include demands to commit dev resources to making the VOD player experience decent, because Hololive vtubers are the only streamers I'm even remotely aware of where their audience actually watches their VOD content wholesale instead of just clips.

If anyone could get Twitch to budge on either making the VOD player better, or not having a 24 hour content exclusivity clause, right now it's Cover.

And for those who think I might be talking out of my ass, remember, Cover could absolutely go to Twitch and say:

"We're thinking of bringing over our talent to your platform, we have 36 streamers with more on the way, covering demographics in Europe, America, Indonesia, and Japan. Out of the top 10 ALL TIME highest revenue earners on YouTube via audience direct funding, 9 of them are our talent. Virtually all our female talent pulls in 8k+ concurrent viewers whenever they are live, and there's virtually no slot in a 24 hour day where one of our talents are not live to bring in those viewers.

What can you offer us?"

imagine Pekora, Miko, or anyone in general playing one of those games with Twitch intergration.. salt levels maximum achieve

I will never be able to take Twitch seriously as a platform for game streamers after countless thottery drama and them hiring a deer troon as part of their staff of whichever department it works. Funnies shit ever to come out of that Pog hole.

I use Ghostery and so far, no Twitch ads is shown. Thought I haven't watch Twitch for more than 5mins.

Technically, yes. They mentioned the existence of VTuber agencies but they didn't explicitly stated the name of these agencies. I'm sure they are aware that VTuber, especially Hololive is a big thing. But again, YouTube is retarded so you can't expect much from them.

Asacoco used to premiere at 4-6 o'clock yuro time.
Is that so? Asacoco used to start at 6:00 AM in Japan and it was 11:00 PM in GMT+1 zone (most of European countries). Ina's streams sometimes are during comfy bedtime.

Also I promised myself to do 10 push-ups every time I see a post shitting on Kiara and now I have a bit of trouble moving my arms, I think I will skip a visit to /vt/ today.

Guess I confused that with maymay review.

If it happens, I low-key want chicken to get bankrupt and be salty about it while everyone else is doing fine.
Nobody does "fine" in Monopoly. The entire point of the game is to ruin relationships and have only one overlord owning everything in the end. I think it's the perfect collab game for the EN girls, and I low-key want Ina to put an armed rooftop Korean on every property she owns.

That's actually pretty nice from Devolver. I do think that Cover still has to get official permission via email.
That's Japanese bureaucracy & red tape at its finest for you. And they'll make it go through umpteen levels of middle-management if they have it.

This really is the worst part of twitch. It's run by woke cunts who constantly push a "progressive" narrative onto the site. Meanwhile, they enforce their rules arbitrarily. Code Miko, for example, was banned for being lewd. But you got the Just Chatting section full of girls with half their tits out. Not to mention the body painters.

If it werent for that, the site would be great. Sure the ads at the start of the stream are annoying but I understand why they do it. Gotta pay the bills somehow. The chat interface is better than YT. Add-ons like bttv allow non-subscribed chatters use of personalized emotes so they can feel apart of the community. Decent modding tools as well to keep the filthy bug menace at bay.

I kinda wish they remain like this, is inefficient is dumb but at least you know the possibility of they americanizing the process and infecting it with their own brand of retardation would be reduced to a minimum

Didn't Twitch pull a "all womxn must be celebrated" stunt recently. It certainly is an exceptional website run by very special people.
