It should be noted that regardless of state laws, if you smoke weed you're federally prohibited from purchasing a firearm. I guess they've been lying on a couple 4473s...

Lying on a 4473 is a felony btw. 10 years in prison or $250,000 fine.

Ill just link to my posts about it because I can find it quicker then digging the originals out of the big thread I should have linked to.

Gen set talked about Here

They are also running this whole "ranch" off a single residential well that feeds the house. My guess is that pump isn't long for this world running that hard and likely undervolted. Water usage has been something they where questioned on before and talked about in the main thread with colorado water rights laws. They depend on the sketchy genset situation for water.

Since this is well water, isn't contamination via animal shit and other stuff they're probably dumping an issue that could harm them relatively soon? Cause I don't imagine that leaving corpses around to rot and decay into the water table is a great idea, no matter how you phrase it. And what are they even doing with their waste water? Trash? I don't imagine that Waste Management is going to their place weekly to take out the trash, nor are they even doing anything with it looking at the screencaps.

Edit: @S.C.U.D. you're autistic if you really think the Feds would care about this. They do this to give a valid reason to raid a location, and/or add charges to someones case to drop in plea bargins

Since they have an actual drilled well (I originally thought they might have point or dug well) I would guess the house must have a septic system. Around my parts those are sized by the number of bedrooms. They are clearly over taxing that also with all those people and I think its a safe bet they are not careful with what they put down the drains.

So the inadequate Septic System is a ticking time bomb? God, I can't wait to see what happens when the shit just starts coming out of everywhere

Yeah, it's basically just stacking charges to them. Unless you've pissed off a Special Agent, then it's enough to fuck with you.

Well, natural selection exists. Entropy is the final destination.
Only thing that is saddening is the uncertainty of all these animals' (alpacas) future.

Lmao and Colorado is in a drought right now. I wonder how fast alpacas start dying when it's over 80 degrees and their water source has failed.

The animals might don't care ot the humans at that ranch just like they don't care for PETA once Puff Daddy killed them.

Btw, if they aren't Waco'ed, how big are the chances they might pull a Johnstown?

There is this tweet mentioning they pick up the hay bales with their truck. I would assume the years worth of feed is just the person letting the tranch pick up a bale whenever they need one so they shouldn't have to worry about spoilage.
I think that's supplemental feed; the tweet with the year of donated hay, along with them taking on another 100ish alpaca, was back in December: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/kevin-gibes-kathryn-gibes-transsalamander.65259/post-8015881

And I don't know if it's been mentioned already, but here's "grocery day" at the tranch: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/kevin-gibes-kathryn-gibes-transsalamander.65259/post-7935463

The round bales are the primary feed/forage, since it's grass hay and also cheap; round bales of grass are usually the cheapest hay available. The bright green stuff in that picture is alfalfa, which is too rich to feed as the main forage and also more expensive than grass unless you're in California. Whoever had the alpacas probably found a good deal on the alfalfa and bought it to give to the females with... whatever the hell baby alpacas are called, but had no use for it once they got rid of them and offloaded it onto the troons.

It has also probably spoilt by now, since it clearly was allowed to get wet.

I said the same thing re: alfalfa at the time. :)

It's not just the usual grossness of raw untreated sewage either. Each tranchero is on a significant amount of estrogen and who knows what else hormonal cocktail, and most of those are excreted through urine as metabolites which are aquatic pollutants. In the case of estrogen, they are most likely on synthetic estradiol valerate which is far more persistent an environmental contaminant than naturally occurring estrogens and has a half life significantly longer than the 0.2-9 days of ye olde basic estradiol. Unsurprisingly, estrogen as a contaminant causes feminization and reproductive disruption in aquatic species so not only are they contributing to soyboys but also ...soyfishes? Soypacas?

gay frogs lmao

Wow, I must have missed the photos. Thank you. That is degeneracy on whole new level.
They all need to let Dave Jones into their hearts.
Giving their hearts to Davey Jones? You mean, sinking them to the bottom of the ocean? That's a good idea, but it'll be mighty tough to find an ocean in landlocked Colorado.
