SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

You've done this enough times to know that I'm going to ask you to elaborate on that.
I just consider everyone who participated in that vote for the SCPss to control my articles after I pmed them personally to note my displeasure to have disregarded and disrespected me. Tanhony’s on that list.

You see, when you exaggerate your problems with people and then it turns out to be high school drama, we have a tough time taking your claims seriously

I used to be actively involved in the scp community back in the day. Submitted a few, got one approved (will not reveal).

Very few people I talked to from that time are still involved with the community, most walked away out of disgust, embarrassment, or boredom (Dr Bright turning into a superhero, for example, and other numerous self-inserts).

One guy I still keep up with and have a monthly email correspondence is active, and told me about some major drama going on where Cyantreuse (a sperg with no life obsessed about scps) outed a ton of info about all the mods being pedos, especially the long standing ones (Bright, Jade).

Yes, that was here. I can't be bothered to dig up and link it, but all the information Cyan dumped has been collected in this thread.

Thanks, searching didn't come up with anything but maybe i'm spelling his spergname wrong
Here's where it starts.

Sorry to double-post, but I've finally gotten around to digging up some stuff that I've mentioned in previous posts but couldn't find at the time. Here's that:

The Great Hippo talks about his unhealthy relationship with the wiki and the problems it caused: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-9463541/authors-deleting-their-own-accounts
There's also a bunch of other interesting stories in here for those looking to gain insight into why people act the way they do on the wiki.
The user Procyon gave the shaft for being in contact with Xenomorph had a thing posted here about his experiences with the wiki: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/scp-foundation.30545/post-6349667

That's interesting. This individual mentioned it like it just happened, but seems like the leaks were almost a year ago. We've become friends IRL and talk about much more interesting things now than our days SCP writing/editing, so it's possible they just found out about it. I'll send them this thread and post if there's anything they have to divulge.

Oh, can we talk about how the logo far2 claims to have made was seen on a Sesame Street episode that came out at least a year before the logo was posted in 2009? I don’t think anyone has ever seriously interrogated that issue.

SCP forum thread about it

From the looks of it, by SCPss standards, far2 was plagiarizing by claiming to have drawn some kind of disused warning symbol.

I wonder if the licensing team has sent out any takedown requests based solely on this logo...

Imagine the chaos if they are forced to change the logo.

One possible avenue of chaos, if they’ve been sending out illegitimate takedown requestsit would cripple their ability to be the SCP license police since places like Redbubble would know that the ss have been sending takedown requests based on something not covered by the CC license. So even if it does turn out to be usable under said license they would still not be trusted to send takedowns, and possibly wouldn’t be able to take down stuff derived from the logo at all

Saw this on Reddit. Apparently, SCP Animated and a couple of other channels have been tracing and "heavily referencing" other people's designs. This is put more in depth in this Twitter thread right here. Sure, you can argue that some cases may be coincidental, but it's still rather noteworthy, as some don't even make an attempt to hide the fact that they're blatantly ripped off.

Oh yeah. The SCP logo was literally ripped straight from Adobe Illustrator. Here's another thread about it.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the logo is from Adobe originally, and is released under some kind of license that allows people to use it for things like the SCP wiki without legal trouble. I don't think this is any kind of disaster waiting to happen for them, and if it was then they probably would have gotten rid of the logo when they first realized that it wasn't theirs originally.

It's funny seeing it on a race car in Sesame Street when your mind associates it with the Foundation. SCP is the gift that never stops giving.

Oh wow now that's just unabashed ripping off, I wonder if the YouTubers who are close with SCPss get busted for engaging in copying the work of others? Probably not!

It's not major news, but Snorlison, an extremely old Admin who was given the position for helping immensely with the cleanup from that time the wiki got raided by HAGGAR, broke six years of silence to officially resign a few days ago. He was placed in the "Inactive/Retired/Presumed Dead" category of old staff members years ago, but I guess he wanted to make it official. Here's some pages:

Apologies for the edits and messiness, I'm having a stroke trying to figure out how this forum software handles links, and I seem to have slightly broken it.
