lol so instead of 30 min of shit music, he just won't stream for 30 minutes...then add 10-15 minutes of music on top of that so he's actually giving himself 15 extra minutes of do nothing time and calling that efficient. Whoever called Phil a unionist is 100% correct.

He actually said this? He's been out of the workforce far too long and it shows. Pretty sure 5 bucks hasn't been the minimum wage anywhere since like the early to mid-2000's, Christ. I'm sure we're just taking him out of context though, of course.

Phil refuses to even drive himself anywhere so as far as he's concerned, there are no work options for him besides beg-streaming.
Probably from the time years ago when he actually had to look for a job, before he got lucky with game streaming. The job market is a fucking shitshow if you don't have an advantage like a friend who can convince their superiors to hand you a job. Phil's job at the helicopter company was only because his father pulled some strings and even then it was a pretty basic one.

This has been his go-to excuse even back when he was in the khando, followed up by how he could never support his lifestyle by working minimum wage / anything short of an executive salary. Then he does a 180 and says how he's struggling to stay afloat and how YOU can help out.
At this point Dave is just too accustomed to his rather luxuries lifestyle for him to get a normal 9-5. plus he acts like he's a cut above everyone that works in retail / fast food.
