US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I kinda thought Biden would just be an invisible caretaker President while they waited for him to die. This is much more entertaining. I love my country and want it to be healthy, but if we must be sick and self-destructive, at least Biden is making it entertaining. He just ordered the flags to be lowered to half-staff because of the rub-and-tuggers killed in the Whack Shack Massacres. This is such a silly, ridiculous decision, it trumps anything even contemplated by the previous administration. And we have years of this to look forward to, assuming he remains semi-coherent and relatively unmuzzled.

Null, this cries out for the "horrifying" icon.

You've got to be shitting me. Flags at half-staff for women who worked at a massage parlor? Jesus. And WWII vets, dying by the hundreds daily, are forgotten by the Biden regime. I'm not entertained at all. Enough to puke a dog off a gut wagon. Mercifully, there are still millions and millions of Americans who shall never buy into the Biden regime's America-hating bullshit.

Everyone who wanted President Trump out of office badly got what they wanted - he's out, and things are bad.

But I don't believe we have years of Joe coming up. More like months, I'd say.

I’ll be honest a lot of Biden’s presidency so far actually makes sense when you view it through this lens.

Get the brain dead old man to cram through as much intensely unpopular shit as possible because you know he doesn’t have to worry about getting re-elected.

Literally the only way Kamala can fix her branding is to look good by comparison.
Why do you think she’s Biden’s running mate? She felt that was her best way to reach the White House. And unlike Hillary, she’s cool with being on the sidelines ready to be tagged in.

For a guy that's hailed as a gentleman who will bring back respectability to politics, Biden kinda comes off as a biligerent old man who likes picking fights. The whole pony-faced dog soldier thing, the pushup contest, arguing with randoms, and now calling the leader of Russia a killer, he says a lot of inflammatory shit that would get normal people an ass kicking if they said that on the street.
If this were Trump he'd be lambasted for it.
20 bucks Romney votes for it.
Lot of bullshit coming from the CCP who does the same exact shit they claim America does.

Go to the Senate, rubber stamp, get Biden to sign, HR1 goes through, Democrats have free reign to do and run everything the damn well please, utopia is achieved. And they didn’t even have to pack the court or make two new states, but they’ll do it anyway because their progressive utopia must be perfection, and their hatred must ensure that MAGA is completely wiped from the face of the earth, and that they were the ones who destroyed it.
Did you even read the 2nd half of that tweet saying it doesn't have a chance in the Senate, or were you too eager to doompost about the end of the Republic?

While the USA and EU have better technology than Russia, I can't help but think that they'll probably win through a combination of western corruption+nepotism and attrition. Not the usual russian winter attrition but just having forces inside enemy countries fucking over infrastructure. Today shutting down the electrical grid can cause people to go insane, nevermind preventinf food supply into the cities. It will cause the EU and USA to need to split their forces guarding everything.
The only way to prevent it is a first strike against Russia but you can be sure no western country will be brave enough to do it.
I think it was written well somewhere that the military is becoming the equivalent of Joe wearing a suit of shining armor.

I am now seeing Biden Enslavement Syndrome. Or maybe it is DNC Enslavement Syndrome, because I seriously doubt someone would like Biden for who he is.

Look at those mental gymnastics. Pretty much every time the old fart does a faux-pas, the former members of Trump's peanut gallery come to his rescue. "Ackshually he meant (...) ", "don't try to embarrass the prez"; "if it was Glompf it would be (...)", and so it goes.
Honestly needs its own thread, though one might say that it does share a lot of overlap with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Here’s the thing: even if it doesn’t have a chance, the Democrats will just make it where they just come back and force it through. Also, there’s the part about HR1 which makes the two bills essentially a 1-2 punch toward achieving their goals. Also, the Democrats control the Senate, once they tinker the conditions to their liking (such as killing the filibuster), it’s as good as on its way to Biden.

Go outside for a bit and calm down. Your doomposting about politics the last few days is early 2017 TDS-tier. They aren't gonna ram shit through if they can't get past the Senate.
I'm as skeptical as anyone re: HR1 but you are clearly marinating in this shit and it isn't healthy.

I kinda hope the ROC will hold China off or the military will act when they see Biden standing by as our best defense against Chinese expansion is destroyed. Odds are very slim though. I can see China's neighbors threatening sanctions however.
China's never actually run an amphibious assault before and doesn't really have a lot of assets capable of doing so. Your most likely outcome is China tries, fails, and then just blockades Taiwan. China has a large military that has a massive focus on looking imposing, but has little to no practical experience. Taiwan is a harder target to land troops on than you'd expect and they know exactly where China would have to land. Also in a few years they'll have a small but well built force of eight SSKs in the South China Sea and that could change the game significantly.

I’d say the only hope for Taiwan is if their army and South Korea and maybe Australia if China hasn’t affected them either can work together, especially since Japan is still in the state of “self-defense forces” instead of “army, navy, and Air Force that can be sent to help allies”. And since Xi and his buddies have America by the balls, there’s no real way the US can be a reliable help.

Yeah somone posted earlier about how China has no proper modern naval experience. ROC has a long if secretive history of aid from the US, I think in the last few years they have been buying up out of date military vessels to beef up their navy.

A Chinese landing on Taiwan would very likely be a disaster that Taiwan could mop up in short order. They know the only places China can land and when and China doesn't have the sea lift to bring overwhelming force to bear. They'd have to blockade Taiwan and they have to do it before Taiwan gets its SSKs finished and in the water. Just because China has a large military and spends a massive amount of time making their ships look pretty and their troops marching in good order doesn't mean they could find their ass with both hands and a map. Their last actual combat was forty years ago and they couldn't even effectively deal with the Vietnamese on the ground.

Never believe Chinese military propaganda. The harder they push it, the more likely it is to be false. If China felt like they could actually take Taiwan, they'd have done it already. They cannot afford the loss of face by fucking it up. Their tiny dicked Han egos couldn't handle it.

They really don't. They have very little practical experience. You can build the machines and ships, but without the doctrine and practical experience, you'll always lag behind. It'll probably take them another few decades to catch up on proper carrier experience. Japan's converting her "helicopter destroyers" to operate F-35s and even with our help they'll have to spend a few decades gaining practical experience.

I saw a depressing poll where people were asked how many unarmed black people were killed by the police each year. Like 40% of left leaning people (and even an embarrassing number of right leaners) said more than 1000.

It's like 8 or 9.

China is literally trying to capitalize on internal divisions, but that's no surprise. The depressing part is how well the narrative has gained traction in the first place.

No human being can honestly look at China and say that they have a safer and more equitable society than the United States (for all it's flaws). The problem is the kind of Americans exploiting social unrest for political power are barely human and not even close to honest.

What are the odds on either South Korea or Japan sending support or potential troops to help Taiwan? I know East Asian politics are basically hating each other's nations cause of past grievances but surely they all understand letting China dominate the seas around them is a death sentence for their independence. Vietnam is so anti-Chinese I wouldn't be surprised if in the event we had a strong anti-China President they'd sign some mutual defense agreement with the US.

Well, the thing China’s gotta deal with is that everyone in their backyard has guns pointed at them like that one John Wick poster. One wrong move and they’ll be blown up in spot and smoke like a Looney Tunes sketch. Why do you think there’s talk of them going through the shadows and only working to crush movements that go against their interests?

You've got to be shitting me. Flags at half-staff for women who worked at a massage parlor? Jesus. And WWII vets, dying by the hundreds daily, are forgotten by the Biden regime. I'm not entertained at all. Enough to puke a dog off a gut wagon.
Six women who died of gun violence by one man =/= WW2 vets dying of old age.

Why stop there? Dicks out for hoes!
Whip that shit out Leopold Stotch style and be sure to be at least half staff.

Word is that Vietnam was feeling around at least the Trump administration about buying weapons, at least what I've heard. They really don't have a grudge against the US and they do really hate China. Strategically it completes the "wall" against the Chinese in the South China Sea and would piss them off something fierce. I don't know that SK and Japan would stick their necks out for Taiwan. SK would be the one that would, Japan's military is still in self-defense force mode. Abe wanted to tweak the constitution to allow a more active role, but it never actually happened. No one really believes Japan's line about the Izumos not being carriers or at least not being built with conversion to carrier in mind, but constitutionally they can't be carriers. Hence Multi-Purpose Operation Destroyers. That are being converted to operate F-35Bs. You know, just in case one has to land somewhere. Totally not carriers.

Everyone who borders China usually hates them. They've never been good neighbors, it's just that usually they destroy themselves on a semi-regular basis. They're about due for another round of civil war, mass death, and cannibalism.
