I genuinely thought large economy nations had their own local production. I used to get all kinds of medicine from Canada back before I had decent insurance. The vaccines were made with public money, we should really force the companies to tell other countries how to make it. I'm all for America first but I highly doubt our economy will continue functioning with most of the world in indefinite lockdown. Wow, somehow I have an even lower opinion of our healthcare system. Unfortunately, there are only three vaccines currently available, and from what I know the companies have all pretty much committed to selling them to the US first, other nations after. It's really disgusting. I 100% agree that they should be forced to share the vaccine formulas so that other pharma companies can make them and help get more out there, but the US is never going to do that or allow that because they're mega-corporations and they have more rights than ordinary citizens.

It's objectively worth something for him to refrain from doing so, and he probably was able to get some minor concessions because of it.

magic words = "notice of discovery" -- uh oh.

this means they could legally search every computer in a household that this person has possibly used. including rhys' computer. you might have seen that famous case where the perp was looking up how to poison her husband, using her kids' computer. (nice try, close but no cigar.)

i don't know international law. what will canada do, ignore the warrant? what are the extradition laws for this kind of warrant, can/do local authorities cooperate with state govts? (i know they can't ignore the fed govt, but local jurisdictions?)

He has a green card, not USA citizenship. Canada will absolutely extradite him for diddling children. They will protect their people for certain things but not that.
