For people that have some sort of significant outward visibility, I would think so, but I also think that a lot of busts are due to tips rather than organic discovery, especially with drugs.

On the surface, this is fine. It's usually a good idea to just play dolls with your son rather than only interacting with him when he's not doing 'fag stuff'.
But the context is LaBelle. Who first of all draws the 'father' like a predator and uses physical signifiers to define the boy as a boy (we're forced to assume his gender without him telling us! Hate crime!). But also we know Billy thinks that if a boy wants to play with dolls, it's doesn't mean he's just playing with whatever's around, or even that he's likely gay - it means he's really a girl. It's not a one-off thing, it's not a phase, it's not even just a sign that he might be more interested in feminine things - it's black and white, 'playing with dolls = girl'.
So he's motte and bailey-ing hard, because this comic is in the context of the entire strip being about tween troons. But also considering the boy is clearly a self-insert, the subtext is, 'If you don't play dolls with your son he'll grow up to think he's a woman and then play dolls as an adult as a kink.' Which I like that LaBelle is accidentally using himself as the warning if you don't follow the advice.
Because honestly I can think of few things better to use as a warning than, 'If your son wants to play with dolls, that's OK. Just go with it - otherwise they might turn out like Sophie LaBelle.'

Yeah. No shit. No one who isn't a complete psychopath thinks that what happened was okay. Killing eight people is a heinous crime.
My social media is saturated with stuff like this, blaming white people in general for these murderous acts. However, me saying anything isn't going to do shit. It's usually creepy, sex and porn-obsessed mentally ill sociopaths who go on killing sprees targeting women. Such men do not care about what people like me have to say.
Honestly, I'd advise any women to stay the fuck away from the sleazy sex trade. Whether it's legal or not, if you fuck men for a living, you are going to come across some horrible, unhinged dudes. It's a dangerous line of work. I don't glorify it the way trans "women" all seem to, nor do I advocate abolishing prisons so truly dangerous men can keep victimizing women.

What the fuck does police funding have to do with this? How would extra social welfares have prevented this shooting? I mean, the perpetrator claims to have been motivated by a sex addiction; if true, maybe better mental health support for him might have prevented the shooting, but not for the sex workers.Actually, it's the second time Billy edited his own comics

I think Billy's tilting at windmills on this one. Though to be fair a lot of people are as well. It's frustratingly hard to gind media outlets that are just reporting the facts and not trying to be the next Woodward and Bernstein by writing melodramatic bullshit.

It might look more sincere if he’d actually drawn something instead of taking five minutes to edit an already-existing comic. Just one new drawing is all it would have taken.

There's a lot of instances I've seen of trans people celebrating the sex trade as a way for them to earn money to get a sex change operation, I think ADF claimed to be a sex worker at one point?
Also it probally makes them feel validated with their autogynephilia.

I think this was remarked in the Kevin Gibes thread, but it bears repeating: these people take scenarios that would be traumatizing and nightmarish to anyone else and fetishize them. For example, I'm sure many women have had nightmares about being kidnapped, gang-raped, and forced into sex work- but troons fetishize it and some actually wish it would happen to them (because they get off on it, or they think it would validate their delusion that they are sexually desirable. Never mind that they have absolutely no clue how horrifying and degrading it would be.) Then again, troons think that they are the opposite sex, so it's not the first time they've tricked themselves.
