The issue that the 'rrat' is bringing up is that Pekora seemed to want to do an actual monetary/cash giveaway. I want back and watched the clip again and she does mention, "Just let me do it for a day," which would actually be a big waste of an outfit redesign and is more likely a contest or something. Still, contest seems like a leap too, someone more familiar with Japanese would have to look at whether she says she wants to give [money] back to her fans or if she's saying she wanted to spend money on presenting something the fans would be entertained by. For all we really know, Pekora asked management for help to molest someone.

Damn that was pretty good.

I sorta hate how you get some really good songs and channels but so many videos get played that you can easily miss a gem or two. Some of these channels have less than 100 subs and have been releasing videos for months. Either japanese music scene is oversaturated or due to moon runes, no one outside of a handful of japanese viewers will ever listen to these.

I never heard anything about that. But in that video I posted earlier, Haato mentions the children they did have. Now, I actually kind of like kids. Sure, hyperactivity can be draining, but I liked some of the times I've had teaching my kid-cousins how to play Mortal Kombat because I did at their age. These kids. . . they sounded like complete fucking dipshits. Plus, she mentions how they were having dinner, and didn't tell/invite her. These were just shitty people. I'm from a notoriously rude group of people in the U.S. and this shit is fucking alien. We treat our guests better than we treat our families most of the time.

Oddly enough, the CCP has a vested interest in not having these layman do anything like this. They routinely train their tourists before going outside of the country because historically the Chinese were disrespectful assholes overseas. Wolf-Warriors are cool and all on the homefront, but the government doesn't want them adding to any negative spotlight overseas, If any of these 'warriors' actually got put on party radar, they'd be gone in 24 hours.

I still think she meant a giveaway of sorts or a raffle. Since she put an emphasis on giving back to her fans. It would also fit into the whole "Do it for one day" thing and something she could do with her own money. Gachikoi would go crazy over the smallest cheapest thing if it came from their oshi so I doubt it would have even cost her much. But the legality of that combined with the pencil pusher nature of the Japanese would probably want to nip that in the bud.

Plus, with stuff like that, there'll always be losers. And most likely quite a bit of those. So maybe management just didn't want to piss off some potential ticking time bombs.

So Maid Mint has just announced at the beginning of her (at the time still ongoing) karaoke stream that she is going to be graduating soon. She states that while the reason is "health related", it's only "partially" the reason why. This graduation, coupled with Ryuusei Nova's graduation happening later this month and with how it's been nearing four months since the end of Nijisnaji's English branch auditions are making me pretty suspicious. There have been rrats thrown about how it could be the Hololive Vsinger position or even Hololive EN Gen 2, but neither women particularly excel at singing and the audition period for Holo EN 2 is till ongoing. My guess is that the Niji English branch may finally get announced this April. Really exciting to see who else they might have snagged, if not the total rookies that got in.

Jesus, so many graduations recently I've been beginning to think we're in May already.
Shit joke aside, this seems like too big of a coincidence to be anything other than heading off to a new agency. If so, good for her! It does strike me as odd that she would've gotten and debuted a new model while she was (potentially) in talks with Niji in presumably a further round of interviews. For now at least this is just another reminder to cherish your indie/small company oshis while you can. Never know when they'll drop.

My guess is that he had ideas for future projects, streams, maybe even 3D and management just shut him down? Wonder if he's experiencing burnout and is frustrated with his slow growth. Someone on hlg said Pekora once had a similar breakdown, might have to look into that later.
Honestly Cover actually does a decent amount to promote the holostars, I've seen quite a few big/corporate collabs with them, but I think they should be pushed more.
