I am so excited that this was I was messaged right after I subbed to her. I have so little time left before my internet blackout. . . and this was what I needed to happen. Slapping a monster till it dies remains as true as ever though, and later entries only add additional ways in which you can do it (and additional ways monsters can screw with you).
I'm a massive fan of cleverness in gameplay and combat. It comes from my DM style, which is really open ended and big on player input/homebrew. . . but I want exploits and an Achilles heel as part of the package.
I've thrown some really shitty scenarios at the fuckers but, thankfully, someone usually pokes at a tangential or out of place description that. . . lo and behold has a key to making a slog-fest easier with some luck. Incidentally, I also hate mechanics exploits so I usually fuck over anyone (with prior warning) who tries to do some really spergy min-maxing.
All in all, designed exploits are kind of a cool addition.
The contest rrat is a little annoying to me since it doesn't really fit with her saying, "other people are able to do it, so why can't I?" and it's accepted as fact even though it has no basis besides being popular on 4chan.
Actually, it does fit. This whole thing got argued in this thread when it was first going down. Other girls have done round-robins, and giveaways before.
The issue that the 'rrat' is bringing up is that Pekora seemed to want to do an actual monetary/cash giveaway. That creates a legal issue because. . . from what I can understand, cash-give-away prizes might be legally considered a gambling enterprise (Even the U.S. gets murky on this. . . it is why you see gift-cards more often than cash prizes from local ventures), in a country much more stringent on gambling than others. So while a merchandise give-away isn't as much an issue, Pekora was looking (apparently) to give back using her superchat earning specifically (this is in keeping with her statements regarding those).
Thus. . . the giveaway would have been of money pooled from fanbase contributions. . . basically creating a roulette.

Also, I am currently watching best Onion try her damndest at APEX (I actually kind of enjoy watching those streams and the game. Personal preference). She got a champion recently too right after a losing streak. Her reaction was precious and I hope it was clipped.
