The Fandom Menace crew are the exact same type of people as the types that run shows like Collider. They just never got the chance and are eternally mad they never got that sweet Disney/CBS money, and just placed themselves in the next best thing. If Disney gave them what they wanted and changed their positions, they'd sell out and lap it up like the vapid fans they are.
There definitely is a big divide between the 'EFAP Community' and the 'Fandom Menace'. And the Fandom Menace's time in the sun is fading faster than EFAP's. One is petty and pedantic dunning-kruegers in their teens and 20s, and the other is played-out trend-chasing bitter fanboys who are in their 30s and 40s who never grew up. I'm fine with them falling apart first, since they are several levels more pathetic. MauLer might try to throw them a bone, but I think he might just loose their ties and let it play out. I don't think he ever cared for them at all. They were never truly part of the 'EFAP Community' anyway.
I'm curious what Drinker will do. He always struck me as being in the middle between these two communities. He hasn't said anything on Twitter or Youtube yet. His last video was a review of the Tomb Raider Film.
He just announced an hour ago that he's going to out out a Snyder Cut video tomorrow, too, if you were wondering.

They think they can be friends with Hollywood. They don't realize that Hollywood hates fans and despise people who don't share the same socio-political ideologies.
Doomcock keeps saying: "we're winning" but I don't see any victory. The Star Trek corpse is still being raped by Alex Kurtzman, Kathleen Kennedy is still at the helm of Disney/LF and JJ Abrams is now in charge of the DC movies.

But people tend to forget he was one the original Fandom Menace video makers, along with World Class Bullshitters and G+G. When he struck gold selling comics, he distanced himself.
He's also famous for being the guy that destroyed Rose Tico dolls, which Red Letter Media kinda made fun of. (And it might have been the trigger for Zack's Asian violence reference, lmao).

Doomcock is delusional if he thinks "we're winning." Look at all of the crap that has happened over the past 3 months alone. If anything, everything is getting worse.
The only way to be victorious is to stop giving these people our support and money. Best way to give someone like Kathleen Kennedy and Zack Snyder the middle finger is to NOT consume their products! Simple as that!

What is there to win in a situation like this? I don't follow many film communities, but I know the stench of a burned fan wanting to "beat" content creators all too well. You don't win, you just lose slightly slower.

If you need pop culture to shape your masculinity, you probably weren't that much of a man in the first place. Heroes are important because it gives people something look up to, they're symbols of hope. They're not there for you to point at and say "I'm definitely not gay because I like this masculine man".

I've long haven't respected Rags (he's the reason why I started to dislike EFAP in the first place), but I definitely won't change my mind with shit like this and after seeing the porn he posts and likes in his server, along with some of the more...explicit things he's said. I plan on screenshotting a lot of it, as much as I can stomach at least, and making an Islamic Content post for it eventually, also I don't think he's with his boyfriend anymore judging from what I've read so far. I'm starting to think he might leave it running in the background, hence the long playtimes. Either that or he actually does play that long, in which case yea that'd explain why he takes forever to make shit. But considering he always has the emulator up pretty much everyday, or another game like Dark Souls, etc, he might be spending most of the time in whatever game.
8 fucking months though. even if he only put in 1 minute per day into his work there should be something to show for it.
what else is he spending his time on? he doesnt have a job last i checked.

In early EFAPs, there were times where MauLer and Rags have both said they're "playing a character." But in later EFAPs, they also say, "No...it's really just me."

I think this is a really good point.... is kinda easy to forget but for normal people the phandom menace and geeks+gamers probably look fucking insane.
For normal people who dont understand how much money by grifting the idea of an adult being obsessed with popcorn media to the degree those guys are must look really pathetic....

I think at this point we all knew Southpaw is another online personality with such an infantile mindset that rather than own up to have made a dick-ish presumption about someone and say 'sorry, my bad', he would rather spend the next 45 minutes desperately creating pedantic strawmen to argue over with people in order to walk away feeling like he somehow won something.
This is why grown ass men like this have to create their entire identity online, they are insufferable to hang out with for normal people.

What makes it even worse is it's 4AM for the guy and he's staying up just to be able to feel like he won the conversation as you said. How sad can someone be?
