Ive been in places of depresssion where I feel like none of my efforts will pay off and I think, if I could only win the lottery id become a producer. That feeling is just from insecurity the fact that teaching yourself comes with a lot of failure.

I dont think peiple want to endure what comes with failure, and this whole "don't have to practice, im content where I am" is all too common.

Which is why she probably wants the producer position.

Like, a good producer can certainly put good things in motion.

However it too takes creativity and most producers just seem to be money bags for creative people.

But theyre also people who know how to get people together, in theory.

You'd need to have money, be decent at people ir at least competent, and have big ideas. They're big idea people.

I generally lean towards big picture things so I struggle with the details which is why its a pipe dream fantasy.

But Cynthia has only vision, no skill, no charisma, no money.

She's inept at every single thing throughout the process. How many times did we point out errors in her work? Things like the kid's dress flying up, the elf looked like Link or the boobs on the mermaid? Cynthia doesn't even notice these things because they're not important to her. The only important thing is Woggie and telling us how amazing he is. Nobody and nothing else matters. Every other character is just there to advance the plot and give exposition. She's not talented enough to give the characters actual motivation, growth or have them speak in a way that sounds natural. It's like she has the barest idea of what to do but doesn't know how to get there. But of course the moment that the movie drops completely she's expecting it to just pick up.

Problem is it's never going to exist as something other than just a bit of weirdness.

And no producer alove right now is going to touch wogglebug.

The Oz fandom is lucky there's a film in the works at all.

The only downside to that is if they actually use wogglebug it'll only fuel her obsession.

He is misunderstood and she wants to make the world realize that. She feels herself misunderstood, so she's doing this sort of as a symbolic act to redeem herself.

I agree with this alot actually. A fine use of Occam's Razor. And she's done alot of work in helping people to understand that she can't function in society at large and should be put in a special assisted-living kind of home, doubly so when she had that almost visceral denial that she won't be put in a home when you think about it. Mostly I feel bad for the money she may or may not have stolen from her family to fuel this escapade of hers. I hope the psychic or the next Nigerian can trick her into wearing a bra.

You'd think Cynthia has some sort of sexual attraction to the wogglebug, her being "developementally challenged", that could come out in a weird way that has all the bells and whistles of being attracted to the Wogglebug, but in a weird non-sexual kind of obsession . . . but I don't think even that is the case.
My humble guess would be that Cynthia read children's books as a means of escapism, she saw that bug, established some sort of connection where she thought that (just like she thinks of herself) the Wogglebug is a good decent person and anyone else just misunderstands him (like everybody misunderstands her).

If that isn't just armchair wannabe-shrink nonsense, it's also kinda interesting to contemplate her next step: Instead of having all people of Oz realizing how wrong they are about the Bugsperg, she put him in another place where everyone but the trolls constantly kisses his ass. This was so he'd be in worthy circles that actually deserve basking in the light of that insufferably smug bedbug's presence.

Observing Cynthia's interaction with @dwt and @voiceguy shows me a cruel, vindictive person with overgrown ego, someone who's willing to hurt people who open themselves up to her when she loses control over them.

It's an interesting take... Still, love for Woggy must come first. He's so unimportant that nobody would laugh at him if they didn't see Cynthia obsessing over him before.
Still I think you're onto something with her behavior being a result of some interpersonal interaction. Fits with her need for some kind of transcendence (interest in magic) and hatred for religion. I would assume she doesn't really hate religion, it's just expression of her hatred for some specific religious person.

Or an event. She once said that her parents forced her to go to some bible camp and she really hated it.
I assume they hoped she'd get along and enjoy herself once she was there, but the whole thing has become such a sore memory that her already present dislike for religion (it's what forces her to get up early on Sunday and sit around without a TV for a couple hours, after all) into full blown hatred.

Cynthia's entire body of work is boring as fuck, to sum it up as simply as I can.
I went out of my way to show one of her movies to a member of my family who falls into her target demographic (seven-year-old girl) and she just gave me a look, very confused, watched for about five minutes, and then left to go something more interesting. I did not try to influence her in any way, just said I had something I wanted to show her.

Also, I can't believe that Cynthia has been a member for almost seven years! And here she is talking about wanting this place to die! If it's really that horrible, then leave now and be done with it!

Can't blame her, watching paint dry is about on the same level of boredom as the Wogglebug movie, but at least you don't have to suffer through creepy dialogue, horribly written songs being sung badly and out of tune and various instances of inadvertend nightmarefuel.

No, that's far too harsh an analysis of her. She's not cruel on purpose, she's just autistic and somewhat retarded, a critical failure roll of the dice in the genetic lottery. She simply dosen't know better when she drops someone like a hot potato or seemingly rudely dismisses honest attempts at help.

This is not to say she is a nice or good person, she's not, but neither is she deliberately evil.
