Phil's crowning achievement in life was getting 4th place in EVO. He spent thousands to travel around the country just to sit in a hotel and practice a video game. He went into massive debt and lost a job over it. All of that... just to never be respected in the FGC. So every week he has to prove his greatness to his fans. Maybe Phil doesn't understand that a lot of people (actual lots of people, not the phantom "Alotta Peepul" that dictate what he needs to do in his life) don't work the "9 to 5" kind of work schedule, and thus have different schedules every week, ergo they work different days/hours every week. This is especially common for the bottom-rung-of-the-ladder retail worker group, which Kat is certainly a member of. Maybe pigroach has been far away from the real working world for so long that this is a concept that is completely lost on him now. What a fucking pathetic leech.

That's why his battle with internet trolls is akin to the forever war, and why he treats someone looking to be a mod for his internet stream chat like a prospective employee that's required to have only the most qualified resumes and top secret clearance. Every mundane thing in this guys life is turned up to 11 by him. I know the joke is DSP get a job because this thing won't last forever, but I'm starting to think he needs to get a job to get reintroduced to the real world and to have a damn social life.
Imagine this guy having friends in the future where he sits down to have a meal with them and reminisces about life, and the guy across from him is talking about how much of a rollercoaster his life was from age 25-45, new job that doubled his salary, had a kid, one of their kids went off to college, buying a new home... DSP chimes in and talks about how he has a cat who keeps waking him up, his wife moved up to the manager position in Fred Meyer's, and how he had to fight a chargeback on paypal from a troll. Pathetic.

He mentions that Kat got a new job, oh i mean new position, but I think it might be a new job. Usually when you start a new job you do training which is usually not the same schedule when you start your first official shift. I know many people here can agree that this happens. Like I worked at a store where training were in the mornings, but after training I worked night shifts. Now the same can be said if she got a new position to train for, but the fact Dave keeps slipping up makes me believe that she got a new job.
