How is it not clear that these people are in the wrong? Why is it like pulling teeth with some people to admit violent leftist extremists exist?

Sure, maybe technically "Antifa" is not some single specific organization, it's a belief system, but so are Neo Nazis, there is no single specific group that controls all Neo Nazis, but these people would never deny or downplay Neo Nazis and say "oh, there's nothing to be afraid of, it's just a belief system, bro!"

Nobody's this stupid, the people who deny it deny it because they support it, they're ok with violent thugs assaulting and harassing people, nothing good is coming to this country if people don't start turning away from political extremism of all stripes, especially in the case of the left wing, anyone with half a brain can see the problem of "rules for thee, but not for me" when one group of violent thugs is tolerated and any sort of backlash to that is focused on as "the real problem" and the only problem.

I hope, for everyone's sake, that people wake up to this and cooler heads prevail, but the fact that Orange Man is gone but the cultural zeitgeist under him is still prevailing is worrying (I guess because the attitude on the left is shifting to "ok, now it's time for some payback" because it happened at all?)

I've been pondering that for a bit.

Part of it, I think, is fear; fear that their golem will turn on them, especially as the Black Bloc/Antifa/BLM rioters are notoriously unfriendly to liberals anyways (remember, 'liberals get the bullet too'.). Also, if they do disavow Antifa, they lose the ability to deploy Antifa to sway opinion by intimidation.

And of course, some are fellow travelers and as far as they're concerned Antifa is right, and everyone else is wrong.

March 12th: Saint-Catherine Street, Montreal, Quebec: "Billboard" Chris Elston (the guy pressing death threat charges against Jonathan Yaniv) recently got assault by several violent Antifas for having a conversation on the street. They took his "Children cannot consent to puberty blockers" billboard, and he gets beaten up with a road cone and French's mustard, for whatever reason. Could be poisoned or mixed with the degenerate's urine. Apparently he was followed by seven people, three of them aggressively attacking him while the four others were probably backups in case Chris fought back.

There is no right and wrong. Only who wins and who survives.
As for admitting? You haven't figured out the goal is to promote these people into higher status.

It's hilarious imagining if he would one day demand the same to Null, to look into a camera like a puppy and apologize. I'm sure he is shaking and weeping soy as he wrote that. If you have to interact with antifa types on twitter and the like, just call them left wingers or leftists so they can't do their big song and dance of asking you to name their chairman for antifa to be a thing. Changing the argument to whether they even exist at all is a major ploy they use to obscure their actions. And calling them just leftists denies them their self identification as anti fascists.
