OK, so he fucked a 22 year old fan he didn't talk to for 4 years after first contacting he said happy birthday 4 years ago? That's not "cancel-worthy", but Dan's been whispered about for years now. He basically just fucks his fans and then ghosts them right after he's done with them. He probably acts like they matter and are important to him, when really he's just after pussy, and then he drops them cold. They get confronted by the fact that they aren't special, they never mattered to him, that they just got played.

Is this something people should care about? I'm honestly asking, because it's an interesting subject. He didn't assault anyone, or have sex with someone that was underage or even send lewd things to anyone below 22 that we know of. But what he's doing is probably emotionally devastating to a lot of people. The pain is real, it's morally fucked up to just ghost someone after sex when you acted like you cared about them as a person. But he didn't violate anyone's consent or break any laws, he's just a shitty person.

Toby got canned because he got accused of rape, then everyone who actually knew him admitted he had problems, but didn't seem capable of raping someone, and the person who accused him never followed up AFAIK. So I'm not really willing to believe sex drama when it comes to Youtubers vs. Fans right off the bat without legitimately solid evidence.

In Jon's case, all his enemies are sex creeps who can't help but continuing to act degenerate, whereas as he at worst (at least that we know of) just has spicy politics.

I think his fans should care that he's manipulating and using them for sex, and not even showing them basic courtesy once he gets what he wants. His fans should care that he's doing this knowing fully that, to many of them, he's a role model and important person in their lives. At least 80's hair bands were open about the fact roadies were a one/multi night stand. This guy manipulates and lies to his fans (who should already be cheap puss to crush) just so he can pump and dump them. The devastation from these fans is very real. What he's doing is fucking vile and cruel, regardless of how dumb the women he's taking advantage of might be. This isn't just some idiot off of Tinder.

Imagine being a woman. Imagine looking up to a guy for years only to find out that he's into you. Imagine fucking him and then never hearing from him again. Imagine if you lost your virginity to him (which I would imagine has happened and turned him on extra hard when it did). Imagine realizing that one of your childhood/teenage heroes just utilized the most private and intimate parts of your body like a personal challenge to see if he 'still has it' (which he clearly never had to begin with if he has to lie to fans for sex).

I know for a lot of men this wouldn't mean much, but for many women a woman's body and sexuality are extensions of themselves. Imagine having something so precious to you used and tossed into the trash by someone you looked up to. It's a brutal thing to think about honestly.
