It’s such a generic, pandering and ultimately naive request though, you could say you also wanted everything to be higher quality and cheaper while all workers should have an easier work schedule with higher pay (And no crunch/holiday rush allowed no matter what!).
I meant the latter as in the microtransaction bullshit. Regarding pay...well this is the game industry and crunch and all of that has always been part of it. When you want to get into videogame development, you know full well of the consequences of what it's like.
The people who respect platitudes like that are not the same kind of people who think about how to, or actually do make things better.
When I used to watch his shit I left comments numerous times asking in good faith what alternative he would propose to replace capitalism.
There's a reason the communist solution to capitalism is "Give someone else all the industry". They have fuck and all in the way of solutions, they just want to give it to someone else and it becomes their problem to solve it for everyone else.
That's why I find it weird Jim rags on Capitalism so much, given his success and massive paycheck is owed entirely to Capitalism.
Lie to yourself long enough and you'll eventually believe it. Jim is so far removed from his roots and sunk so deep into his bubble he might as well be on another planet, so it's not hard to see how he's deluded himself into ignoring his entire career path.
