He claims emulation is a resource burden on a computer, it's nearly impossible to capture a ps3, there is a shortage of working ps1 and ps2 systems, ps1 and ps2 physical copies are ridiculously expensive, on and on like he's never experienced things outside of what he assumes.

As someone who collects retro games, the majority of PS1 and PS2 games are cheap as fuck. The expensive games are the first-party Nintendo gamecube games, Sega Saturn games. Also certain RPG's. Most PS1 and PS2 games are going to be well under $40

The games which are going to be expensive are going to be games which have turned into cult classics, RPG's, or anything weebish. The majority of any decent and well-known game like Silent Hill (which is over $100+ for a PS1 copy) can be bought for pennies on the Playstation store. This is just another case of Phil literally talking out of his ass. Also, for gamecube or wii, Dolphin works like a charm and as long as your computer is decent, it can run it

Oh, but DSP has an outdated, shitty computer? Don't worry, you have a Wii U, modding that shit to play practically any Nintendo game outside of Switch and 3DS is not that hard as there are dozens of youtube videos and guides.

I too am a collector and yes outside of those rare instances you're talking $20 average for a ps1 game and less for most popular ps2 games. It's not even hard to upscale your ps1 and ps2 consoles to hdmi because collectors are a ravenous sort for upscaling tech so it's not hard or expensive to get a decent upscaler, and from there it's incredibly easy to run those to a capture card. It is so easy to get a good Sony collection together because it was retardedly popular when it hit the scene and how cheap printing out a CD was at the time, that complaining you can't get a digital copy for $2 less is ridiculous and the PS Store didn't even have a very good library anyhow.

Yes, he literally has immunity granted to him by Twitch. No joke. You simply just can't report him anymore. I've personally tried emailing Twitch and everything and all I got was an automated message, despite me trying to follow up.

I have Metroid Prime w/ echoes bonus disc for the gamecube and the funny thing is that the first thing that shows up in the shopping category when you google for it is the game being sold for $4,000

This is what happens when a dozen YouTube and Twitter detractors report him every time he sneezes. Phil makes Twitch money and while he blows their numbers and influence out of proportion (sometimes; when he's feeling himself they can't do shit to him) he's not wrong when he says that people can't cancel him, not for the things he does overtly, at any rate, and lunatics obsessed with karmic realignment localized to a certain condo in Washington do not help matters.

No one at Twitch wants to do anything about Phil as long as he's profitable and there's no cost to keeping him around, and I'm sure they're sick to death of hearing pearl-clutchers shrieking about him.

He will memory hole it completely and ignore any mention of it until it gets brought up enough times that even the pignotized fans start to wonder what the 'nugget of truth' behind this story is. You will be banned if you push back on this. If you go back and look up the original stream you are an obsessed mentally ill stalker who needs to get a life. DSP proclaims that the 10 year plan is now a detractor meme, something that was taken completely out of context and obsessed individuals have unfairly spun it to make Phil look bad. I'm late to the discussion on Genshin but I'm a long time player. Phil saying this game is P2W is hilarious and completely incorrect. In fact you can do anything in this game with 4* characters. (the lowest and easiest rarity to obtain, 5* is the harder gain).

A team full of 4* characters (some even are given out for free in events) get you through any kind of content currently and when you play long enough, nothing is challenging. It's just resource gathering for the future. You could probably hang onto all the 4* characters you built up for over a year or longer and still be just fine.
