Holy shit. Joe's 100% full of his bitch ass self. He's ripping on his old friends because they found a way to still make money without dedicating 100% of their time to sucking Youtube's dick for scraps. I'm finding his meltdown way more amusing than 'Dan had sexy with stupid 18yo fans'. All the old school Newgrounds animators moved on because there's no future in busting your ass creating user friendly content on a platform that specifically caters to shit like fake life/food hacks, Spiderman/Elsa pregnant videos and random clips from popular media.

Stamper stopped animating and now does voice work. Stamper can put up a seven minute vid and get 50k views
and his latest video is five fucking hours long and gets only 12k.

Psychicpebbles teamed up with Michael Cusack and pitched a show to Adult Swim; Smiling Friends. It even had Mike Stoklasa from RLM. He and OneyG also pushed to get Hellbenders a show (cancelled after the Spider episode leak).
Last but not least OneyG is currently on the cusp of releasing his first game;

Joe's not mad that they 'sold out'. He's mad that they all moved on to bigger and better things. Except GameGrumps. That shit's just lazy.

It's funny how Joe shits on his old friends for abandoning animation, but when Zach has been working in the industry for years, he's a"Hollywood sellout." I get the idea that Oney didn't like the politics of the industry which might have been part of the reason why Hellbenders got canned. (If I recall, there was an argument over the shoe's name and the the pilot was leaked sometime after the cancellation).
It would be wrong to say that Chris has completely abandoned animation, since he still experiments with Blender and other animation software, when he's not doing let's plays. It's not like he's Arin who complete stopped making animations once Game Grumps got big. Chris's game looks cool but it's been in devlopmental hell for years now. Hopefully, it turns out well.

What's happened is people have worked themselves into a shoot over some internet fuck that they worship over other people that also worked themselves into a shoot over that same internet dude that they think to be the devil. They all report the wrong thing in extremely biased ways until the original report barely exists anymore because of the hoopla.
