Police respond to active shooter situation at King Soopers in Boulder
The Boulder Police Department is warning people to stay away from the King Soopers store at 3600 Table Mesa Drive because of an active shooter at the store.

Department officials tweeted the warning at 2:49 p.m. A public information officer was on their way to the scene. Further information was not immediately provided.

The King Soopers anchors a large shopping center in the southern part of Boulder, a few blocks from Fairview High School.

I dunno, we just had a workplace shooting out in Oconomowoc Wisconsin, at a grocery distribution center. Two dead, happened about a week ago. Suspect named as Fraron Cornelius, a janitor at the facility, but of course no pictures have been shown nor interviews released with relatives or friends, which leads me to think he was black. Otherwise we'd hear a LOT more about it. He crashed on the north side of MKE, got out of the car and shot himself. So you see, it may happen but you'd never hear about it unless it's local to you.

A few weeks ago, a random jigg shot a 50 something year old white woman and an older white gentleman at a shooting range of all places, where he was summarily gunned down by multiple gun range employees during the shootout that occurred following the senseless murder of two upstanding members of the community by a dimwitted slob.

It was such a non event in the media that I didn't even hear about it until 2 weeks passed, and I see this place every day on my drive to work. No coworkers mentioned it either, and when I finally brought it up it was news to everyone.
