Police respond to active shooter situation at King Soopers in Boulder - Time to Dust Off Those Gun Control Bills

Police respond to active shooter situation at King Soopers in Boulder
The Boulder Police Department is warning people to stay away from the King Soopers store at 3600 Table Mesa Drive because of an active shooter at the store.

Department officials tweeted the warning at 2:49 p.m. A public information officer was on their way to the scene. Further information was not immediately provided.

The King Soopers anchors a large shopping center in the southern part of Boulder, a few blocks from Fairview High School.

I'm surprised the US haven't enacted gun control laws or try to curb down on the illegal ownership of guns after the several shootings they have had.

Just imagine how many shootings we could stop if we could enact something that judges a potential gun owner based on his character and mental state.

There are a lot of crazy dangerous people out there who don't deserve guns at all.

I hope this situation doesn't get any crazier than it already is.
As a eurocuck I'd like to remind you that the last few mass shootings in the rather gun-unfriendly germany were done by

An autist with a homemade SMG, and

An undiagnozed schizophrenic with a legal handgun, who somehow got it despite having written complaints about "secret services" reading his mind to everyone from local cops to federal prosecutors for the last 20 years.

The sheer amount of existing guns in US guarantees that everyone who wants one bad enough will find one, regardless of what the laws are.

Are you a Burger? Or a Eurocuck? Just curious, because plenty of states do have laws that say you can't own a gun if you've been on a mental hold within so many years of buying the firearm.
Plenty of the antigun laws in place are worthless because this wasn't their gun or it was otherwise obtained illegally from some guy on Craigslist.
None of these jackasses ever actually buy a legitimate firearm, that's just what the liberals think is happening because "REEEEEEEEEEE GUNS BAD"
Yep:

And then we also get articles like this where upstanding liberals are shocked that law-abiding citizens have to jump through hoops to exercise their sacred rights:

Not sure why people can't accept that violence is part of human nature, shitty things happen every day and always will, and criminals and madmen don't give a fuck about laws.

Whites shooting whites in the whitest place on earth - How this is a black/POC issue.

America has too many guns for it already that gun control is a moot idea. You could say "All guns confiscated, now!" And even after a nationwide attempt, there would still be a sea of personal firearms floating around.

But - Be glad people still sperg about these mass shootings with fake sympathy and pretend vigils. The reverse is some cyberpunk style world where no one gives a fuck and soys with neon-cornrows are instead of running your life on twitter spraying bullets at public.

It's kinda weird that there hasn't been many mass shootings for a while and suddenly there are two back to back. I was never one to believe the conspiracy theory of government sanctioned mass shootings but after reading a bit into the Vegas shooter's story it's kinda been sounding a bit more plausible to me.
Yeah it sounds stupid as fuck but honestly, in Clown World, it makes more sense than anything the TV people will tell you. But overall mass shootings are extremely rare, that's the only reason they make the news in the first place. If they were as common as media pundits and politicians would want you to believe, they would barely get reported, much like the gang related drive bys in low income minority neighborhoods.

That does it. I can see an Assault Weapons Ban passing the House and having a remote chance in the Senate.

The line will be that the officers IIIA vest was not able to stop bullets for the assault weapon. That if the shooter had a handgun the officer could have had a better chance.

I expect stock footage on CNN of how the .223 does deviating injure compared to ball 9mm, no photos of hollow points shall be shown..

No more migrants in crowded pens, embarrassing us, we have a dead cop to stand on!

Does this count?
Apparently, Aussie niggers need a PSA to educate them that sniffing gas from a soda bottle is bad.
Oh, NOW they care about cops! I thought for a moment they'd be happy some white cop got killed as payback for all those dead tranny joggers or whatever the fuck.

For Christ's sake, stop trying to sell me outrage porn already. Anybody who falls for it these days is as stupid as people who think they're gonna become millionaires through penny stock. Probably dumber.

You may be the Wolf of Wall Street, but I ain't no fuckin' sheep.

Thousands of people die to handguns each year. It’s like 100 to 1 compared to rifles and shotguns of any kind.

And yet the gun control pressure is always focused on removing the one style of weapon that gives the people even the barest fucking prayer of organized resistance to the state.

Get fucked.

Fuck, why are mass or "postal" type shooters ALWAYS white?

People need to behave now more than ever because right now they're just looking for as many ways as they can to say white people and guns are evil.

Plz behave, don't go out and kill 10 people kthx. Pwease?

This is the real reason why the shooting happen:

That's Kroger's corporate art. They own King Koopas.

He’s the shooter.

God is my co-pilot, Trump is my trigger man.

Timothy Mcveigh got a relatively swift execution back in the day. This guy will probably be sitting in a jail cell for decades on the other hand and the actions conveniently blamed on mental illness just like our friend 'James Holmes' (same state too).

What the Hell is wrong with public opinion and media to blame every shooting in the last decade on ''mental illness'' or a hate crime? these guys are just criminals. They have intent to kill and they plan the shooting with relative ease in a way a scattered brained schizophrenic just could not. Swift executions are the only solution to this. Mass Shooters should be executed within a time frame of no more than two years.

Aussiefag is also missing a vital puzzle piece: illegal guns will always be pouring into the United States because we have a southern border. If Americans can't get guns legally then we will just buy them from the cartels along with our weed and crack. Guns will always be plentiful here. Australia and even the UK are geographically privileged because they are islands and don't have a southern border that criminals can sell weapons through. If they did then their gun situation would look insanely different.
It's the other way around really. Most of the weapons the cartels use are legally purchased in the US then smuggled over the border, where cartel gunsmiths put in autosears and other additions or modifications. Very little in the way of weaponry from Mexico goes north of the border.

Fucking psychopaths. What's the maximum penalty in Colorado?
No death penalty:

On March 23, 2020, Colorado became the 22nd U.S. state to abolish the death penalty, as Governor Jared Polis (pictured) signed legislation repealing the state’s capital punishment statute and commuted the sentences of the state’s three death-row prisoners to life without possibility of parole. The state was the tenth to legislatively or judicially abolish capital punishment in the past fifteen years.

For a state with some of the worst mass shootings (Columbine HighSchool, the 2012 movie theater shooting) in the United States this just makes no sense. You would think there would have been a push to implement it after what has happened in the past. Even by the public.
