Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Isn't this a bit silly? People can just put him on ignore if they are that turned off by it that they find it aggravating, if they can't scroll past for some reason. It's not as if it is off-topic.

I don't see the difference between them shitting up threads and other varieties of such via gimmickposting, madposting, et cetera. It's even repetitive like other bait posted around here.
It's called quality control and like all regulations, it can be a good or bad thing. It's not like a threadban is a big deal, and no one's gonna miss his uh... quality content. Seems like a fair warning situation to me. Being a forums libertarian is just as irresponsible as being a real one.

BTW 2021 is shaping up to be super crazzy, which has been the trend since this century's political realignment began in earnest in 2016. I'm about to put (actual) money down on Biden being out of the presidency by the end of the year. He will end up resigning, he's barely hanging on now. I absolutely cannot imagine what the behind-the-scenes in the white house looks like. We are really in for it if reality denial has gone so far as to have real live people, elites and the highest level politicians at that, play-acting around a sick and demented president.

I'm left wondering, are they keeping Biden hidden from the opposition as well? Surely it's in some small-time GOP'ers interest to blow the whistle, even if the uniparty types don't want to?

That's fair, but if you're going to target that guy for annoying people, then for consistency's sake you'd likely have to warn and/or threadban other posters who annoy many people here in good ol' AnH. I'm not sure that's a good idea.

I have been hearing news that they have considered putting some of them in more traditional detainment facilities, if you catch my drift. Except there's apparently no room.

Did the assault weapons ban back in the day real change much in terms of gun violence? Is limiting everyone to 5 or 10 rounds a mag on AR-15s really going to change anything when there are millions if not billions of high-cap mags already floating around in the market today? Hell, even if there weren't, some psycho can just climb a bell tower and take potshots at passersby and easily take out as many people as the Boulder shooter before the cops can stop him.

Like it or not, America has the strongest gun culture in the world and the genie has long since left the bottle to try to change that. There are too many guns in circulation and limiting the rights that law-abiding Americans enjoy isn't going to change much if anything.

Honestly, I'd hate to see America lose the ability to own high-powered rifles, not a lot of places allow that sort of thing anymore. You don't know the envy I feel being limited to only shotguns and pistols where I have to pass a piss test and a background check everytime to buy one and wait a whole month for some arbitrary reason. Ah well, at least I can enjoy that much, it's why I can never live in Japan cause you can't own guns there.

The Columbine shooting was during the time the law was in effect. I don't know what the law banned though.
