Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I think that's a good guess. I kind of think that's about when he will be hospitalized briefly, and right before July 4th, Harris will take over, with a firehose of media talking about how the "system works" as it gushes over Harris and pretends they are ecstatic patriots in their support of her presidency.

Isn't this a bit silly? People can just put him on ignore if they are that turned off by it that they find it aggravating, if they can't scroll past for some reason. It's not as if it is off-topic.

I don't see the difference between them shitting up threads and other varieties of such via gimmickposting, madposting, et cetera. It's even repetitive like other bait posted around here.

We really have reached the point where people just want excuses to either lecture their political rivals or use the force of law against them. Freaking ridiculous.

This is why when I mentor people who want to get good at public speaking and presenting, I spend a lot of explaining that they need to break out of the mindset of “there‘s no such thing as stupid questions” and get in the mindset of “so what if it’s a stupid question, at least I had the guts to ask it. And maybe it’ll be useful later.”

I think teaching people to not give a shit about looking stupid is one of the most important ways to fight against people trying to control them.
