So here's Phil's explanation for the dick rubbing video. Apparently Phil was filming his computer screen to complain about YouTube. He showed his YouTube dashboard on camera and leaked what he calls a "mobile upload code." APPARENTLY this was an old YouTube feature and if you knew the code, you could upload a video to the corresponding channel from any mobile device (without knowing any of the login details). This code was leaked in the video and some troll uploaded a video of him doing something perverted to DSP's channel. Phil's fans reached out to him and said "Phil, this doesn't look like you and we know you wouldn't do anything like this, your channel is for gameplay." Once he was alerted he reset his mobile upload code and deleted the video.
The story makes next to no sense. In this story, videos (!) were uploaded to his channel by 'some pervert' after Phil leaked this code that allowed
anyone to upload anything to his channel. Phil was notified by someone and immediately started taking them down, and he was lucky that he did because if he had been away, his channel would have apparently had a few of these up.
1. In EIGHT years, he has never once mentioned this incident? Someone uploading videos to his channel never got mentioned? And there was no story about this apparent security issue with YT?
2. He leaked this and
one dude uploaded dick fondling vids? If that code leaked, his channel would have been banned for spam as even then detractors would have spammed it with 100 Nazi propaganda videos in 5 minutes.
3. Instead of deleting these videos, Phil privated them and kept them on his channel, which is the only way we subsequently found it? Why would he do that?
4. The background appears consistent with Phil's condo, so the dude broke in and filmed this on Phil's couch with Phil's camera?
5. This didn't make the cut to talk about in his insane prestream, but was casually brought up later, despite this being something significant enough that he should have addressed it with everything currently going on. This response was rehearsed and he brought it up when he assumed the fewest detractors possible would be listening to hear this absolute bullshit.
6. I'm supposed to believe Phil would never make a mistake like this, or make 'perverted' videos like this when this is the same guy that leaked his girlfriend's nudes when they were on his desktop and jacked off on stream.
This attempt at a calculated story suggests planning on his part. And just like that, we see why he was so pissy all morning - we've all been mocking lil'Phil and it now spread enough that he felt pressured to actually say something. And just like with Champions, it requires the most convoluted sequence of events, and requires us to believe Phil didn't react like Phil normally would at any juncture of this story. Maybe it was actually NotDSP in another harmless and coincidental case of mistaken identity.
By the by, his mention that there there were 'videos' implies there is still gold dust yet to be discovered, friends. Preemptively covering the next leak.
