To me the answer is balkanization. Automonous zones are good example. India telling zuckerberg and jack to go fuck themselves and russia building their own net? Another good example of balkanization.

The more fractured things get the less control they'll have and better today can defend yourself.

To be fair, I am Australian so US politics is just an amusing cluster fuck to watch from my side of the world.

I know we are at the "trends and forces" part of history so I have decided to kick back and watch the world burn, and just keep shitposting while it happens.

I envy your position of pointing and laughing, especially when you're an ocean away. When you're living through it, it's kind of hard to see any humor in the situation.

So they protest the death of Daniel Prude by creating inconvenience for the local community through shutting down a supermarket.

One of their main gripes is food deserts but they never ask why those stores moved in the first place.

The answer is record high shoplifting and the occasional threat of riots.

The jury selection seems grim, with lots of bias. Right about now I think that the best probable outcome is that one person on the jury is based and refuses to convict once they see all the evidence. If one juror hangs the panel they have to declare a mistrial and start over.

Can you get a retrial if your jurors run their mouth after the trial and show bias? "Yea Oprah, I knew he guilty last year. It was my mission to ignore the white lies and deliver justice."
