A propos of nothing, a few conventional progressive feminist talking points:

• Gender roles found in nature and tradition hold no inherent value or logic, are oppressive and must be overthrown.
• Attempts to encourage masculinity/femininity in boys/girls are cruel. They replicate the roles of men as oppressor and women as oppressed. Down with gendered toy aisles!
• Masculinity in particular is toxic and must be neutered of its conventional aspects to achieve equality and free women from oppression.
• Whether someone is a biological man/woman should hold little weight in how they live their lives, what social roles they perform, etc.
• There are no such things as inherently male or female personality traits, it’s all learned. The male and female brains are interchangeable in most respects.
• Men and women are biologically different, but in ways that make little practical difference: it’s hateful and retrograde to suggest women shouldn’t perform combat roles, male brains evolved to give them an edge and math and science, etc.
• Biological determinism is evil Nazi shit.
• Men and women shouldn’t be bound by gender norms in how they express themselves. Women can be as masculine as they wish and men as feminine.

Under the progressive feminist view, any difference between the sexes is or should be superficial, only in terms of chromosomes, genitalia, etc. It’s not a huge leap from there that some men could choose to be women and vice-versa, since “man” and “woman” mean almost nothing in a social sense under that paradigm. Feminism, along with progressivism and the gay agenda, has done half the work of castrating men already.

Nobody blamed feminism or TERFs for this event (at least while I was involved). It was a relevant and complimentary aside about Graham Linehan (anti-GG tard, now TERF). It wasn't good enough for some feminists so they got insulted and that's how we got here.

FWIW I agree with you that RF’s do have to take a portion of the blame for this. Attacking masculinity and framing it as a bad thing in all situations was a massive mistake and I think it has a lot to do with the men who did use their masculinity in a toxic way becoming trannys. Most of us are just ordinary women who benefited from the gains of second wave feminism, in terms of being allowed to work any job, having bank accounts, instigating divorce, wearing trousers lol, but don’t really care that our careers suffer because we take ten years out to raise kids. Believe it or not, lots of women willingly sacrifice their careers because being at home with their kids is more important to them. Lots of us enjoy wearing make up and shaving our bodies because it makes us feel good, and don’t think we’ve been brainwashed by the patriarchy. Radicalism has always been fringe, but lots of us are starting to cling to it because libfems are so corrupted they want rapists to be put in female prisons, and because they promote women selling their bodies as “empowerment”.

The gay alphabet, feminists, and other rights movements in the early to mid 1900's made some really good points about human rights and a lot of people conceded to them. The problem is that we as a society just kept nodding in agreement with them for the past 60 years without checking to see if there were some bad apples popping up (expect with gay men since straight guys are most effected). The gay rights movement has had so many fuck ups and dumbassery and had a big part to play in modern troonery, and radfems certainly always played the same gender games as troons where gender was only a social construct when they wanted (that's not including all their other toxic sexist shit.) But the same rigid conservative ideals that led to all that fag bashing have bred troonery like rabbits on ecstacy.

There is a big difference between Muslim trannies (almost all of whom are homosexuals trying to circumvent anti-homosexual laws and customs) and Western trannies, many of whom are autogynophiles and/or "transbians." The latter group is by definition not homosexual and the former group may or may not be attracted to the same biological sex but are still motivated to troon out by something other than homosexuality.
I don't think that the claim that "conservative" gender roles contributes to transsexualism holds water in any sense. Conservative ideals of womanhood strongly emphasize (biological) motherhood and the role of mothers and fathers in a family. Transsexualism precludes both of these things.
Any self-proclaimed "conservative" who accepts trooning out as an acceptable decision in any situation is either coping ("well at least my son isn't gay so I don't have to disown him"), not actually conservative, or both.
The idea of womanhood being about aesthetics (pink, dresses, lingerie, etc) or bimbohood ("being a dumb bitch") is not a right-wing paradigm. It has more to do with the media industry, marketing, and pornography. Pink being a "female color" was mostly a marketing gimmick to sell gender-specific products to parents and expecting parents. Same thing with dolls, etc. The reduction of gender roles to clothes, products, and aesthetics is a product of neoliberal consumer capitalism and not conservatism. The idea that buying things (pills, surgeries, clothes, etc) is a "quick fix" for making your identity issues/self-loathing go away is 100% a liberal capitalist attitude. Its prevalence is what happens when you allow rampant commercialism and predatory marketing to fill the void left by actual traditions and values.
The role that commercialized sexual fantasy (i.e. pornography) plays in this process also cannot be neglected. You can tell how much pornography influences sexually-frustrated autogynephiles just by listening to them talk about their gender identity. AGP trannies act so over-the-top because they are imitating a pornified version of womanhood (the bimbo archetype) rather than the actual thing itself. If you go to any tranny Discord (which I don't recommend you do), you will see a shit ton of porn, "meta-porn" (such as "sissy porn" in which the idea of becoming female itself is the primary sexual stimulus) and pornographic self-sexualization that would make even Buffalo Bill cringe. These are creatures whose whole worldview and self-concept has been shaped by pornography and pornographic expectations, combined with a healthy dose of consumerism.
There is a reason why transsexualism has exploded only recently despite "conservative gender roles" having existed in various forms for centuries prior. Without mass media, pornography, and secular liberal capitalism, you don't get a troon epidemic.
