As always, imagine what it would have been like if this had happened under Trump. Brief press conference where nothing of consequence was said, then the press is quickly shuffled out of the room and not allowed to ask a single question. The media would be in an uproar, screeching at Trump for not allowing freedom of the press, blathering on about how "this is how fascists work," and demanding he resign or get impeached, anything to get rid of the Bad Orange Man.
Under Biden? Don't expect a single fucking complaint. The media is 100% in lockstep with the Dem establishment, and they know their marching orders: keep up the charade that everything is fine, anything bad is still Drumpf's fault, and Joe is gonna fix everything. Please ignore the rising energy prices, increased global tensions, and gigantic swarm of aliens from the southern border, everything is fine.
I'm really curious how long they can keep it going for, though. It's painfully obvious to anyone with more than two brain cells that Joe doesn't even have one left. His mind's on the fritz, he doesn't know where he is half the time (or more), he forgets basic shit like the names of people in the same room with him, and he's increasingly frail, as evidenced by his failure to negotiate stairs. I know there's the conspiracy theory that they want ten years of slay kween Kamala so they want to keep Joe shuffling along for half his term and a day, but with how rapidly he's declining, I'm increasingly of the opinion he won't make it through the end of the year. Sorry, Kopmala, your dicksucking skills won't help you here.

Don't worry, I've been under no illusions otherwise for years and years. It's just hilarious how blatant they're getting with Biden.
Think about it objectively. The president of the United States is in a declining mental state, but the administration surrounding him is circling the wagons and denying that anything's wrong, or just flat-out ignoring the question. The president barely appears in public, only doing so briefly, and press access is limited or nonexistent. It's pretty obvious to those who aren't blinded by partisan politics, but imagine finding definitive proof of an administrative coverup, like one of those good ol' anonymous sources (that seem to have disappeared now, conveniently) that leaks some documentation or emails about the whole situation, going back to the campaign itself. It'd be one of the biggest news stories of the year, if not decade, how a political party completely covered up the condition of their presidential candidate and lied to the public about his fitness for office.
Imagine having that proof, and then deciding "eh, not that big a deal," and tossing it in the trash. That's the modern media in a nutshell: keeping their party in power is more important than telling the truth.
I suppose a similar situation already occurred with Woodrow Wilson after his stroke (almost a century ago, funny how that works out), but a big difference between then and now is how the news is delivered. Without TV or the internet, Wilson's condition could be covered up more easily; newspaper reporters might have found it strange that they hadn't seen him in a while, but the public at large wouldn't get to see him either way. Even so, they still couldn't keep it under wraps forever, and within a few months, his condition was known to the public. Compare that to today, where anyone can view countless videos of Biden and clearly tell there's something up. The media today has no excuse not to report on something so patently obvious to the layman, but they still won't do anything to hurt their friends in the Democrat party.
