He was actually using the recipe he did for his "lazy man's keto alfredo sauce recipe" video (something like that, I can't remember the title off the top of my head). It did call for a stick of butter, and like Jack said, he doubled the recipe. The yield would have been more than the 2 cups that the casserole called for, so I think it probably threw off his "double recipe" proportions. Not that Jack would care that the vegetable was drowning in extra cheese sauce.I thought when Jack put 5 lbs of cheese in his stuffed peppers, but he's the type of dude with no concept of diminishing returns. The type who goes "well if Paula Deen (who was selling butter) says fat is flavor and the recipe calls for 3 tablespoons and that's good flavor, 4x that would be ULTRA good flavor!" No it's gonna be all greasy and slimy and gross dude.
