Aimee Challenor / Ashton Lucas David Challenor / Aimee Knight - Failed politician, adult baby, son of an adult baby rapist, furry, brony: the troon that killed Reddit.

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.

most of the redditors are being based.

"We did not adequately vet her background before formally hiring her."
To me this reads "Found out but did not care. Did not think anyone would figure it out....."
Someone found out
Shit went flying
Now they gotta clean up their mess. Somehow.
Yeah, there's no way they can reasonably expect people to believe that the small matter of Challenor losing their political career due to their continued association with a convicted child predator just happened to slip through the cracks. Nope, not buying it. They knew, they just didn't care.
I guess it's better to look incompetent rather than complicit. But really, if Reddit has made anything abundantly clear over this, it's that they are both.

Reddit admins have done some mindblowingly retarded shit in the past but this one really takes the cake, and spez's excuse is almost as bad as "lol I was trolling bro" when he was caught subtly editing comments on the backend.

"We didn't vet this employee to realize they were famous for being in a household where a child was being tortured, we just took action as soon as we saw they were getting cyberbullied for being famous for being in a household where a child was being tortured"

I have a feeling they are just going to get a handle change and told to shut the fuck up and not have a chimpout for a few days. In typical Reddit fashion, only when something starts getting covered by the mainstream media do the admins actually do something about it. It should also be mentioned that people have been eating bans for breakfast for... the horrible crime of being critical about Reddit's hiring of Ashton Challenor as a prime candidate for unchecked powers on a forum.

I'm going to be :optimistic: and state that the next Reddit admin chimpout happens in 90 days or so when people stop using their site as frequently because they can finally start going back to normal.

yeah, on second thought, after this reddit happening his name is probably too toxic for even the wokest of the woke organisations to associate with. like, when even giga next level 'inclusivity above all' parties like the greens kick him out, and even reddit (notorious for tranny janny culture) doesnt want him, then i dont think he has much of a public career left.
dont know whats next for him now. life on neetbux probably.

Normies on Reddit finally waking up?
First day on the Internet?

Nothing's going to come from this. Reddit will sweep it under the rug, and redditors are already patting each other over the back on a 'job well done' when they should be holding the admins to the fucking grill and asking questions. But we already knew it would end this way. They will never wake up.

There is an "expression" that goes a little bit as follows "It is better to ask, and look dumb, than to act and confirm that you are indeed dumb." Reddit fell into the second category there. They have proven themselves incompetent at hiring people who are , well, essentially not safe for a large part of their user-base.

They have a flawed vetting process. Who knows how long they had that.

Not a great look .Least they fired her after bad PR. Not much a comfort. If the users had relented, Ashton would still be there, doing his....thing...I guess.

Someone knows his history. That was so fucking slimey that I never visited the site again, unless it was for controversies or I had to.

The worst thing about this all is that they'll forget this tomorrow, keep spending money on updoots, and will miss the part where it says they were actively shielding the janny
Even worse, Ashton will likely be replaced by another mentally ill troon. The only thing Ashton did wrong by Reddit standards was getting caught and was way too transparent and obvious about the fact that he's a mentally ill blight on the site.

I love a happy ending
Not really, when Reddit writes that the fired man in a dress was protected, as we knew already: "On March 9th, we added extra protections for this employee, including actioning content that mentioned the employee’s name or shared personal information on third-party sites, which we reserve for serious cases of harassment and doxxing."

Fuck Reddit. Nothing will change.
