I’m curious as to how Phil could weasel his way out of playing Code Vein if a paypig argued with him. He’s played so many “waifu games” in the last year. FE3H, FF7R, Genshin, and now Danganronpa V3 (worth noting that he’s played the first 2 and will probably end up playing Ultra Despair Girls). Also, I’m sure this has been pointed out before, but he was willing to play Danganronpa for viewer’s choice simply because it wasn’t an RPG.

He's not going on the leaderboard now and the tip does not count towards tonight's tip goal, though.
There is no reason not to put it on the leaderboard tonight, especially considering Pastryarchy solo'd the tips goal earlier anyway.

Now that you said that, I've legit never seen Phil properly apologize. All of his apologies have some form of caveat.

AFAIK, he has never just said "Sorry for the shit I said, it was wrong of me" and then shut up about it. He always has to go on rants about how that was 1 million years ago, or that the others are the ones at fault, or maybe that that was his depression.
