Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I really wish Biden would stop talking about filibuster reform and actually do it. It's been totally cucked as a tool and could actually allow for good policy to get passed.
It's so clear he's just gonna talk about it and nothing is ever gonna be get done.
I agree with that they should just get rid of measure. :winner:
I think they will vote on fillbuster after they pass HR1 Bill which has have some republicans cuck which they will.

It's not Biden's job. The president is not some leader of the Senate. The president is supposed to work for the Senate.

Also if the Dems ended the filibuster they would pass HR 1, which would turn our entire voting system into an open banana republic.

Most likely when its fixed

>saying accepting the migrant kids makes you a nice guy
Biden is right Trump stripped down a lot of the border services, but that was to limit these people and matched the Trump admin's immigration policy. Automatically switching the outlook of your immigration policy without having the material conditions to do so is really, really stupid.
Additionally Biden wasn't being truthful about the number of migrant kids(saying only up 28%), he mixed migrants as a whole and child migrant, the latter of which is even more expensive and complicated.

APC ON THE TRUMP TRAIN BOIS!!

Let's burn a cross in his honor.

I'll say this for child sniffer: whether it's due to strategy or the more probable simply not knowing, his pattern of not detailing the things him and his residential managers are working on will probably serve them much better than Trump's retarded "HERE'S WHAT ME AND MY PEOPLE, THE BEST PEOPLE, ARE WORKING ON RIGHT NOW, THE DEMOCRATS SHOULDN'T EVEN TRY TO STOP IT, HERE IS EXACTLY WHAT I PLAN TO DO AND THEY WILL NEVER EVEN BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT" strategy

Pretty fucking pathetic isn't it?

How is your understanding of relations of branches of US government this bad? The president is in no way subservient to the senate and is under no obligation to follow what the senate wants. Obama followed this principle actually(going for austerity and cucking on Obamacare), yet people like yourself would bitch him out regardless. The only mandate that the president has to serve is that of the American public and the senate should work with how the public wants, because it would be theoretically representing public interest.
Your entire argument is based on the assumption that somehow the senate represents the people more so, which it doesn't. Mitch McConnell blocking 2k checks is more than enough to show that the senate isn't some democratic institution when 2k checks had bipartisan backing. Even the house is a better representation of the public then the senate is.

You're one of the people who claims the election was rigged and fake, you don't actually care about democracy or turning into a "banana republic". You already believe that has occurred so attempting to fearmonger isn't going to get you anywhere. I have critiques of HR1 but the idea it would be a bigger mess then the last election is pretty doubtful.

Manchin wants to rework elements of HR1 anyway so I imagine some of worse elements will be trimmed.
