Well, the things we’ve seen in this thread have mostly been what you said: basically posturing as an intellectual for saying that there’s more merit in pop culture than one realizes. There’s also the part where she’s always in the same left wing progressive social justice circles and all the arrogance that comes with it. And maybe a little passive aggressiveness towards those she hates, including Doug Walker who she feels “held her back” and gave her a time where she felt “miserable”.

That is one of the things that's so obnoxious about her: the fact that she's just kind of an asshole. Being a bloviating pseudo-intellectual on YouTube is nothing new or notworthy (hell, it describes half the stuff I watch on that site) but being a cunt in the process is what puts her over the top. It's something that's very hard not to dislike someone over- note how the only time everyone took her side was when she went after MovieBob, someone who's such a monstrous, toxic asshole that everyone was OK with her passive-aggressive mean-girl bullshit being of who she was doing it to.

It's the same with Doug Walker who, while a massive sperg, is basically childish and inoffensive. If he hadn't given her her breakout role as the Chick, which got her the vital opportunity to network into the SJW parasite hive, she'd still be some drunk redneck with a worthless degree in the middle of bumfuck, nowhere- and she can't even pretend to be grateful to the guy.

She brings up that popular books are basically predetermined based on their advance and if the advance is high, the publisher will do a lot of advertising for that book. She brings up that just because the book is a bestseller, doesn't mean that it is successful, has a staying audience, or that it paid back the advance given to the author. She brings up that the royalties are used to pay back advances and that they are a small percentage of the price of a book , which causes a book to be a bestseller but not a success, then she says "Don't read into this".

Is her documentary available anywhere? I could only ever find a clip of it on vimeo. Anyway, this is a pretty weak criticism of the movie. It makes YMS's review seem great by comparison.
