Interesting concept for a series, but handled awfully and eventually died out. I would've love to have seen more Immersion episodes if they were fleshed out like this episode instead of the dumb Mario Kart one, among others.

Bernie's excuse for the lack of Immersion episodes was that they were trying to sell it to a network. Which is completely backward from their entire philosophy of the triumph of new media. They did the same thing with their terrible movies.

If you wanna put it that way, then...sure. All I’ll say is that Mica Burton alleged that RT tried to use her to get Hollywood connections through her dad, and when RWBY took off, Red vs Boue basically took a back seat and acknowledged that RWBY was the new flagship of RT without much fuss.

Look at twitch, for every successful streamer there are thousands stuck at sub 10 viewers. Aiming for streaming as a career is the equivalent of past generations where the boys all wanted to be professional football players or rockstars, they're aiming for a career only a minority of them will ever achieve, and which will be harder the less connections they have

I must’ve missed something in my time away from RoosterTeeth until I found this thread or he changed recently, but I never knew Blaine was such an egocentric and insufferable cunt.

I'm reminded of ten years ago when Scott Kurtz was making all those blogs about how easy it was to be a webcomic creator because "we didn't have facebook and twitter in my day." Ignoring that the reason he had a large following online was because he already had an audience from being one of the first webcomics created.

Blaine probably doesn't understand most people don't intern at successful internet companies and then move in front of the camera.
