When it comes to third party services, I tend to keep my mouth shut about things I know benefits me. But, I feel the Aimee Challenor topic is the best chance to show something off I've learned over the last few years.

When I Google a name present on the Kiwi Farms, as webmaster, I see some info about link placement.

When I Google a name they have censored, I don't. Mostly happens with trans names and deadnames.

I noticed this after Liz Fong-Jones (a former Google employee) started harassing my email server's VPS company. I made a thread containing their complaint. Now, unless you search explicitly 'kiwi farms' or similar, no mention of Liz Fong-Jones on Kiwi Farms appears in search results at all.

Basically, Google has a lot of Ts in their workforce that will happily censor the forum and hand curate search results for other Ts.

none of these political "phobias" exist. nobody gets panic attacks when seeing trannies, nobody runs away screaming when encountering gays, nobody freezes up in terror at the sight of a muslim.

labeling dislike of something as a "phobia" is a calculated political move to character assassinate you. it associates dislike of something with mental illness and insanity, painting you as an irrational madman who is not right in the head and should probably be institutionalized. this association, when reinforced to a sufficient degree, makes normies immediately dismiss the position in question as untenable, removing it from the spectrum of acceptable positions one can hold publically.

It presupposes that any fear or dislike of a member of these groups is inherently irrational. If I were a small 5'1" woman trying to change in a locker room and I saw Jonathan Yaniv leering at me over the lockers with a tampon in his hand and his rot pocket out I would be afraid of the tranny. But it would not be an irrational fear. Similarly, if I watched a man in muslim garb run up, drop a backpack at my feet, and run away, I would have an immediate panic response, but it would not be irrational.

Yeah, I agree that is a reasonable possible explanation. I guess I just don’t really buy it, even if I have no strong logical reasons not to. I’m not sure what difference the “african american” thing makes considering the Wikipedia articles for these people will say, for instance, “Thomas Edison was an American inventor...” not a white inventor. Whether it says “American inventor” or “African-American inventor” seems inconsequential in terms of the algorithm. I’m not suggesting that there is some grand conspiracy here, only that I believe it’s possible Google employees curate search results on topics like this. We already pretty much know they do this, only question is the extent of it.

The point, that sailed over your head, is no one is going to write a section on Thomas Edison's wikipedia page about his impact on the white community, the discrimination he faced for being white, or have a link to a list of "white american inventors" at the bottom of the page, but all three of those are likely to show up in one way or another on a black inventor's page, using the term "African-American" every time. Suddenly a dude like George Washington Carver has 4x the hits for "American" than Edison does, so he shows up high in the ranks even if there are way more pages written about Edison.
That's the same reason you get all those mixed race pics when you try and search for white woman with kids or white family, because no one just calls a group of stereotypical Dakotans a white family unless there's a reason to draw attention to race in the image caption, like if the races in it are, I dunno, mixed?

People vastly over-state how intelligent search engines are and seem to think they process logic in any way like a human brain does.

The real answer to this is going to be surgery. The same thing happened with lobotomies, and it took a few children getting the whack until there was a mass revolt. Until then it was seen as a good thing.

What the history books won't tell you is that lobotomies, as in, the icepick lobotomy, actually worked. It took a screaming, homocidal schizophrenic, and made it into a smelly lazy weirdo who just wanted to lounge around all day and idly touch themselves, which in the 1950s allowed for them to be taken care of by a nurse instead of having them be locked in an attic (which was the fashion at the time)

Even children it worked on. The reality is, children's brain could recover from it because it wasn't done growing yet. The kids who received lobotomies have mostly grown up to be moderately functional human beings. So even in the case of a totally unnecessary lobotomy, it wasn't that big a deal.

And so suddenly, the amount of unnecessary lobotomies skyrocketed, the amount of kids to go under the knife ramped up, and suddenly dozens of random doctors decided they could improve on the method (sound familiar?) until there was no one single version.

And everyone sat and tolerated it, and pretended it was a good thing, until at some random convention, someone giving talk on the merits of child lobotomy was boo'ed off the stage. And every puff piece stopped. And doctors who were on the cutting edge of the future of health care got the career equivalent of a lynching.

The average Joe doesn't give a shit about this stuff. Until they suddenly do. And then those organizations will go on a crusade against the doctors they were throwing money at a few minutes ago.

That being said, even if someone experiences Gender Dysphoria as a young person they tend to outgrow it and just end up as a gay man or a lesbian woman.

This whole movement centers around acting preemptively. ”I’m 12 and I feel like I was born in the wrong body”.

I don’t know that I ever experienced that, but that time in my life was confusing (and puberty is confusing for everybody). The solution is to ride it out and not start pumping them full of hormones.

lol nah bro, it didn’t go over my head. On second thought tho I think you’re right — for example, if you search for “famous inventors” you get results much more in line with what you’d expect to see. Nonetheless, I think it would be really interesting to see a comparison between the search results shown on diff search engines regarding controversial issues (abortion, troons, race, whatever). The claim isn’t about the level of complexity underlying a search engine’s algorithm but rather what interference occurs from the humans managing it. For instance, iirc a few years back there was a leak of terms blacklisted by Google. It’s just wild to think of how much power a company like Google can wield through their control over information. Anyway I don’t want to bog down the thread talking about this too much, back to the regularly scheduled tranny insanity
