The entire concept of "Gender identity" is based on circular reasoning (e.g., "I am a female because I think I'm a female.") Thinking that you're something does not make you that thing- hence the "I identify as an attack helicopter" mockery. Humans are sexually dimorphic beyond reproductive organs and hormones; for example, there is substantial differences in blood pressure between men and women (Archive). I understand dysphoria, but that is a mental illness and should be treated.
In other words, Labelle has an ulterior motive for wanting to be seen as a woman, or is mentally ill.
