Yeah, the more you learn and read about Phil, the less sympathy you feel for him as all of his mistakes have been caused because of his own shittyness as a person. It's been theorized and still is on whether or not Phil or Kat wear the pants in the family. I'm of the opinion that Kat has Phil's balls in her purse because of how much of a puritan he now acts with romance. Though the other theories about why, in my view, are just as valid and possible as there are points to be made for either reason.

With regards to you being a beginner console gamer: you literally can't be worse than Phil. Everyone starts off somewhere, the difference being that most people who play video games tend to get better, especially if they're a full-time streamer like Phil. Outside of the few years when Phil cared about the Street Fighter scene, how he plays from 2010 to 2021 is just as bad. I highly doubt anyone here needs to be told that Mario, the famous Nintendo character known for jumping, is good at jumping. I could go on and on, but as a beginner, I'm willing to bet anything that you are already better at video games than Phil is.

If you haven't watched some of the TIHYDP's (most of them are long as fuck so it's reasonable for them to take several viewing periods to finish) but I recommend watching them if you want to see an entertaining way to view his stellar game play. Just find a game you're interested in, like Mario Sunshine or any of the Resident Evils, and enjoy the show

Fun fact: Some of the most viewed TIHYDP's were made by my bf but I didn't know him back then. He's been following the dsp saga for years now just like you guys. That's probably why I'm so invested in this shit now too haha

Because Leanna is physically attractive and most people know little about her as she's been gone for years now. It's frustrating and gets me MOTI, tbh. She's such a nasty, hateful, bigoted annoying cunt.

I gather when DSP was with her the general consensus among watchers was much less generous to her but retroactively since she stuck Phil with a public loss he couldn't blame on online lag or ranked matchmaking there's been a recasting of her as some big prize that he missed out on and had to cope with a rebound to attempt to get over. Maybe those are deaf posters and they truly don't understand why she not every one's cup of tea, who really knows?

Why would someone who stopped buying physical copies of games buy the disc drive version of the PS5? I figure because he's probably now in thick of triple dipping on the same movies he owned on DVD, blu ray and now overpaying for them all over again on UHD 4k blu ray.

He ordered from an unlisted site link playing a Batman game live on stream last year, tried to get the other version but he couldn't get the cart checkout to complete with it so he got the site to process the order through completion with the disc drive version instead. At least that was what he told his viewers at the time iirc.

Ok so this was just on the front page of reddit, and I just immediately thought of Phil and his hyper critical ramblings about him just how shitting on other people and how much more effort he puts into things then other people do.

I want to break down that video with time stamps because its hilarious:

0:58 He calls Leanna new potted plants "succulent plants" for some reason.

1:58 He is talking about how he has perfectly working office chairs in his nook and says "we can dump these chairs,not dump DONATE". He inadvertidly admitted that he was going to take two office chairs to the dump,I'm pretty sure that if he lefts them on the street someone would have took them but he threw them away in the dump.

3:25 there is some plastic baskets and he starts talking about how he is "going to have to chop up those baskets". Again perfectly working baskets and instead of putting them in the street so someone take it he wants to destroy them and throw it away.

4:10 He has paper plates that he bought IN BULK in the closet,mature adult can't do dishes and eats from paper plates.

4:30 He admits that the garage was an un-usable mess from all the shit it had and it took him 2 YEARS to clean (and he only did because his dad was there).

5:15 When talking about his dirty garage he says "I didn't had time to clean it up myself,the day I take off to do that I don't work,I can't make money,I can't support the business". Phil you work like 6 hours a day from home and you have one day off a week,stop roleplaying as if you had no free time you acoustic manchild no one believes you. Also still RPing as a business owner.

7:30 He admits his parents were doing things around the house all day.

7:50 He talks about how his parents had to teach him how to paint and take care of the garden so its not filled with weeds since he couldn't possibly have know. A man in his 30s said that unironically.

8:30 His father had to help him move a couch because he was sitting in a cushion that was flattened every night(I assume the cushions are attached to the couch),Phil would have kept sitting on a flattened cushion forever if his dad wasn't there.

Lol at his level of self awareness,he made a 10 minute video about how he is such a manchild that he didn't clean up his garage in two years to the point where he couldn't use it ,his dad painted his GF room,he didn't know how to get rid of weedß in his garden and didn't know how to paint a wall. This makes him look so immachoor for a man in his mid 30s.

Notice Green Screen he can't use cuz according to him "false flags"? Also its "incredibly hard" to setup the light boxes with the green screen so Phil can't be bothered.
