I did this in a rush, so please excuse doodle and mistakes.
Team Boof! (I’m not creative and just named them after the sound big dogs make)
This team isn’t too into the being tough or rowdy, but more-so moral support and helpful—think of them as therapy dogs of sorts!
Bones the male Poochyena:
Quiet nature, capable of taking hits.
Ability: Quick Feet
Move set: Bite, howl, dig, dark pulse
An easy going and gentle soul, Bones doesn’t quite like handling social situations, but will be there to listen and ease anyone in need to the best of his ability with reassurance and soft comfort. His unusual bobtail and floppy ear is due to being bred from a line of designer show poochyena, but his traits weren’t quite what his owner was looking for, thus he had been released for a more coveted appearance. Heartbroken, Bones had wondered aimlessly, feeling quite foolish for his odd appearance. It was then when he had happened across Mimir the light coloured arcanine, who took him under her wing and comforted him. Both having quite unusual looks, they bonded quite well and the two decided to team up to form Team Boof.
Mimir has a motherly spirit. She is always looking out for others and putting them before herself and doing what she can to be of help. Despite seeming as sweet as can be, she will not hesitate to stick up for those she cares about by any means necessary, even if that is by turning the offender into a toasted marshmallow. Mimir had a life of comfort, living with her mother and two older sisters. Her sisters were much more hot tempered than her and often poked fun at her light coloured pelt, thinking that it looked pretty ridiculous for a growlithe. Of course, she was a bit uncomfortable, being that she was not an normal coloured growlithe, nor was she a shiny. She was just weird. It wasn’t long until Mimir had evolved into an arcanine and ventured off and took up the task of caring for others in need, as her mother raised her. She later met Bones and took care of the disheartened poochyena. The two became close friends and decided to form Team Boof together to help others in need of help.
To be honest I have no idea who's in charge. I just didn't want to change the story I wrote.
Also I didn't want the spirit of parody to be lost completely, and what could be more parodic than Sonichu, which is definitely a parody and not a rip-off?

Well, it depends if we want it to be a general parody or a specific parody. Pokemon having a separate society in the human world opens up a lot of interesting possibilities, but it gets away from specifically parodying PMD-E. On the other hand, we could always do all-Pokemon versions of the Sonichu setting, which could also be pretty cool. Make Snorlax a literal Snorlax, that kind of thing. Maybe OPL could be his Sonichu form permanently?
If you've got the time for vidya, the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games are actually pretty fun, if you don't mind lots of dungeon crawling. They have a pretty interesting setting/backstory. There most certainly aren't easily located ROM versions, and I can't comment on the fact that it's much easier to play with an emulator. There's also a really good Let's Play here.

I was under the impression it was more a parody of the way PK ran the group and less of PMD in particular. Also, more people have played regular Pokemon than PMD, and I wanted to be inclusive.
I was thinking that, while it can take place in Sonichu canon, it wouldn't focus on it. Like, CWCville is some run-down podunk built by a nuclear waste facility far off that people have heard stories about, but most people don't go there. Mutant Pokemon run about, some crazed manchild rules over what's left of civilization with an iron fist, and you can't even get there anyway because there's a giant Snorlax wearing a wig and glasses blocking the only path in.

I actually have a game, but I've been in a mood lately where I don't get the joy I used to get from vidya unless they're mindless puzzlers. I really should play it.

That's a good point. I think in the end, it should come down to whether or not the artists actually feel like drawing people. And since I draw about as well as your average 14-year-old weeb, I'm not really eligible in that sense.
As a general note, if someone draws Asher and Inari, I will love you forever.

Maybe we can just have people shown from the legs up, like Nanny from Muppet babies or Mom and Dad in Cow and Chicken, and they can talk like Peanuts parents.

Yeah, seems to me like it's better if no one is really "in charge" and we just toss out cool ideas to make comics or stories around and create a world to do so in.
Honestly this seems like a really cool idea. I could totally see a whole roleplay forming from it. But thats just me being hopeful because I'm a nerd. Another question. Do the Pokemon speak the same language as the Humans? Or do they speak their own language?
Also What pokemon do you think should I make for the Edgelord Villain?
Well looking at the latest chatlog post on the PK thread, seems PK got triggered by calling Anana (one of the PMD-E cast that DIDN'T phase out of existence due to being Kecy-sue's sister) a banana or something.
So... if there's any thinly-veiled rip off of that character in here, it needs to be a Tropius!
If I join in, can I be a human? Either a character based on The Jerkheif, Reldnahc the Evil Animu Edgelord Villain, or one of the survivalist milita types living around CWCville.
I'm doing this without looking at anyone else's teams. Ahort.
Zai: A Psyduck who fits the 'transformed human' archetype. Though he might've forgotten it, or maybe the truth is that he isn't transformed at all and he only thinks he is. His headaches are a little odd, not really giving him that much power, but the more pain he feels the clearer his mind gets anyway. [Does not evolve. Ever.]
Thermo: A rather timid Cyndaquil. Although he doesn't speak up that often, he tries his hardest to speak up when he feels it's needed and doesn't like to stand back on his own beliefs. Kind of weird about combat: one of his tactics involves setting himself on fire [like for a punch or a tackle] and hitting; although it hurts, somehow it works.
A Mawile client [not a team member] who has an Aron for a pet. I didn't think it that far beyond, I just thought of a Mawile who took in an Aron and she keeps treating it like a dog. It keeps getting lost, so she asks the teams to find it.
I actually made my team a group of NPCs basically.
Pangoro [Name: Stephen], A quest-giver that wants to fight but, since he accidentally got the rest of his team fired, is not allowed to go on missions and has to give them out instead. Violent and always wants to fight people that look tough to him.
Froslass [Name: Sarah], a shy item merchant who tends to follow the Pangoro around because she used to be on a team with him. She tends to freak out if too many people are harassing her so she tends to sell small quantities of very specific items rather than general goods.
