Phil has used the phrase "her day off" (always singular, implying she only has one day off a week) ever since she first moved in with him, still saying it even after the tax/bankruptcy information proved she was working part-time, which obviously meant she had multiple days off a week. I wouldn't read anything into what Phil says or implies in regards to her work schedule.
It's certainly possible she's working full time now, but I highly doubt she's working six days a week.

Mid 1990s collectors mentality where alternate covers and chase cards in the yearly comic card sets bled into the toys as well. The way the Wolverine story is always told I hear it as essentially kid DSP asking mom and dad who know jack and shit about Logan secret identities asking for that one specific paint job where the action figure is I guess either in the intro costume from the 70s that was yellow/blue or possibly in the Madripoor-based "Patch" identity, but some rare alternate, I've never recalled having heard a version where specifically Phil knows the value of the toy is higher due to reading a price catalog in like a ToyFare issue or anything, then the payoff arrives with kid DSP just opening a boxed edition of the regular XMen strike team outfit instead much to his eternal chagrin. The cautionary tale to never send a boomer to do purchasing for your older millennial child but told in the way to highlight the narcissism of the only child regaling us with the tale again and again. The only real questions left are how was DSP tipped off to the supposed greater rarity of the specific edition and then speculation can deal with if he had gotten the one he wanted, would he actually have kept it in mint condition to resell it for any profit at all later, which I find highly unlikely in probability. He needed that specific toy paint job the way he specifically needs that five star sweatymanjpg with the specific skin on it more than he'd ever realize a gain on the toy leaving his collector mentality grasp, I figure.
