This is to do with brow bone shape differences in male and female. Where softer and rounded female brows and forehead tend to make women's eyes look rounder and wider. There's also a wider space between eyebrows and eyes for women. The opposite is true for male.

If women mention how men/boys are groomed on the internet (via social media, or particularly via porn), we're called SWERFS and TERFS.
If anything, it's the mansplaining, sex pesting and physical violence I've seen considered "toxic masculinity" by a large number of women-- and the troons still exhibit all those traits 1000x over.
Troonism has a lot of money backing it from tech and biomed, both industries that are run by men, see women as a collection of parts to sell. Women don't control what kinds of grooming happens on social media, men are mostly in control of those platforms. Women don't run governments that push troon ideology into the legal sphere, mostly men do. Like, if you wanted to pass, you wouldn’t do that stuff, because men are way less likely to dye their hair or have tons of piercings, but it’s not really about passing.

Also, a lot of FTMs have been sexually abused, which leads to both 1) wanting to feel control over their body and 2) disliking female secondary sexual characteristics.

An aspect of anorexia is wanting to be so thin you don’t have breasts anymore and to look childlike and this is definitely an element with many FTMs.

There’s also the idea of a ‘symptom pool’, so basically how people in distress manifest that. If you were a 12 year old girl in 1995 who hated your body changing and becoming sexualized you’d develop an eating disorder. Maybe now you wouldn’t.

I think there is some truth to this, because adolescent and young adult females are the statistically most likely demographic to fall prey to socially induced neuroses, which eating disorders are a branch of. The bulk of the "recovered memories" patients in the 80's and 90's were young women as well.

The difference now with this trans fad is that we (parents, health care providers and society in general) are not even allowed to regard these young women's obsessive urges to mutilate themselves as a pathology (which it very clearly is).

Agree. I see a lot of radfems and terves being very including of young men being lured in the gender cult as well. On the other hand, when you see how these young men use their trans status to shit all over women, it's hard to maintain sympathy for their situation. I can understand why many women would nope out on that bullshit and use their energy, emotional and otherwise, to focus on young women. Incidentally, I also think they're worthier of that focus - it's clear to me that they are the primary victims of this fad. Gay men should use our social capital/power/whatever to support that and to have a focus on the gay male youth that's being led down that path, which isn't very many, as far as I can tell from the studies that are available

I'm not a feminist (I'm a guy and I distrust male feminists) but they aren't a monolith. The ones responsible for doing that and destroying the boundaries and same-sex spaces are the mainstream liberal Feminists, not radical feminists or any other feminist subgroup. Any radical feminist, even the most insane and dogmatic ones, are completely against breaking these boundaries for safety reasons (hint: it's biology!).
