Wasn’t the reason it was banned, it was banned because apparently it was “promoting hate towards a marginalized or vulnerable group. The community had become increasingly exclusionary with hateful content that is counter to its original satirical intent and was in violation of our policies” Which is still a bullshit reason they pulled out of their ass as literally anyone could participate, even if they were a troll as long as they didn’t post porn or gore.

That's particularly weird given how Reddit still has some insanely degenerate porn subs that are full of racism, homophobia and all sorts, but in the context of fetishes. So for example it's okay to have a white guy literally beating a black woman and yelling "nigger" if it makes some creep watching it coom, but you can't say that word in any other context. They're all about "words are violence" but actual violence is fine as long as it's sexualised.

TL;DR My kid brother posted some kind of Aimee meme to a libertarian meme subreddit, got a lot of upvotes, then was temp banned from the subreddit. Days later he got a DM from a the main Reddit mods stating that they "do not tolerate hate," and that if he did something like this again he would not only be permabanned from the libertarian subreddit, but reddit as a whole. It's weird when the internet culture I see everyday clashes with my IRL people.

Reddit has, once again, done it.

They had a discord that was blanket 18+. OP (who appears to be cis, based on her posts to /r/badwomansanatomy) kicked up a fuss that underage lesbians could just join and see nudes etc. on one of the channels, and got made an admin to do age verification for the discord.

A user called "Spooky" (who isn't explicitly stated to be trans, but based on everything that follows I'd assume is) refused to do age verification and instead sat in the public channels antagonising OP. OP eventually snapped, skimmed this person's reddit page and mocked them in DMs for obsessively posting Sonic porn but not age verifying, and kicked them from the discord.

"Spooky" rejoined and then harassed OP relentlessly. After getting shamed by the mods, OP stepped down. Then she did some digging and realised basically all the Sonic porn Spooky was posting was graphic cub porn (read: child porn, but furry) and called the mods out (since those posts were readily accessible on the reddit profile), and other users came forward saying how uncomfortable they were.

In response, the discord admin (who is trans) deleted the whole discord.

I feel so stupid for ever giving any of these "little" freaks or whatever the benefit of the doubt. I used to think "It's disgusting but hey it's just a kink these adults are doing and it's not about kids". They're all fucking paedos.

interesting that /actuallesbians is brought up a lot, as it was frequently bashed on terf reddit before /GC got banned because it censored... actual lesbians who were twanzphobic.

Ok. This might be on conspiratorial levels, but I'll still say it.

Perhaps that that these redditors that owned these archives had been under intense bribery or hostage by a pedo-ring? Aimee had entered into a political party. Surely there might be some political connections and activities going on that made reddit do this. If it does, then this might be one of the largest lolcow we have ever witnessed.

I'm pretty sure those searches/archives etc all work on the Reddit API. I know for sure that the Pushshift search uses the API because it says as much on the "about" page.

Reddit could just turn it off or ban their API key for a few days if they foresee it causing them problems. IDK if they did this, but it could be the explanation.

AHS has people in there that spam CP on subs they don't like and some reddit jannie almost instantly deletes it because they are thick and thin, there was even one superstraight sub that said they would @SIGSEGV whoever posted CP in their subreddit.

I don't know how much of this is true, its from a friend of a friend on the internet, but he was being "transphobic" online, some tranny got his info and contacted his friends and family to tell them he is a transphobe. They replied either "we know" or "what's a transphobe?".
I guess it matters how much of your life is online, if you spend too much time online and all your social life is spent on social media its easier to get cancelled.

You cannot say what gay and lesbian is, or what man or woman is. Try to point out the general disgust homosexuals have for anatomy and bodies of the opposite sex and you're called transphobic, as if you're only saying you find trans bodies disgusting. It didn't matter if you said it nicely or harshly. They're brigading to wear us down, until no one objects anymore, and everyone agrees that "some" gay men are attracted to transmen and are still gay. To colonize, they only need a little territory.

Once gay includes transmen, all is lost, male homosexuality now includes females. By transmen I mean women who have undergone mutilation to live a dragking lie, aka plastic surgery people, with gonads like phony bologna. double metaphor, alll the wayyy, whoa that's so intense *sob*

Reddit has recloseted homosexuals. They started with lesbians, and r/askgaybros is a thin pretense away from ban or takeover. That the mod is strictly hands off as a founding policy of the sub (explicitly not a safe space, any topic can be discussed) means he cannot take a stand one way or the other, which ironically is the only thing keeping him from having to make a stand for the sub; they cannot pressure him to abandon the principle of any topic is open, or out of a hands off moderation policy.

Imagine a right wing social media giant doing what Reddit did, banning homosexuality except under their definition. Who will save us from this homophobia? Reddit has recloseted homosexuals. Where is the left, our saviors? Our heroes? Oh, huh, 5.5 years after Obergefell they're now our persecutors, and with the added courtesy to shield T under the cover of LGB.

Wait so let me get this straight, they refused to even enable the nsfw-mode on their server? Something which is against Discord TOS and has gotten plenty of secrets nuked? Not alone that, "TERFs" aren't exclusionary of "trans men" (i.e. women) or non-binary females either (at least per se), they only want to keep males out of female spaces and groups. So "trans exclusionary" is another false part of the slur.

Their logic to refute that statement is that transmen don't want to be classified with females because it makes them feel "dysphoric", so therefore female only spaces are trans exclusionary.
