Nah, subconscious. She was an edgelord in her past and definitely did that by subconscious. You wanna know why? Because she wants her past forgotten, but doesn't want to grow up and accept it. She probably doesn't take anything she does seriously as a result of that and never really gave it much thought about the words she used. That's why she was flailing before trying to explain herself.

Eh, I'd say it was out of a desire to be as sophistic as possible in a tweet that used every possible character. She could have said "look really closely" but landed on "squinting" so she could have those extra characters. The whole point could have been made "These are copies of TLA constructed out of a desire to appeal to already-proven consumerist models." But then she couldn't have sounded like the pseudo-intellectual she so clearly wants to be, writing 5 tweets to get across a simple point.

Edit: Also, while she's cancelling herself, maybe sausage girl can learn to code and find new employment?
