If I'm understanding this right, Lindsay is being cancelled for complaining about media that mashes different cultures together under a vague umbrella of "Asian" and ignores its cultural context. I thought this was a pretty woke opinion, and is a criticism I've seen other people level against Raya and Avatar without any incident. Or is Lindsay just not allowed to comment on "Asian issues" because she's white?

Worth considering the crowd she has surrounded herself with over the years and the types of insane arguments she've made herself, this always winds up happening.

No human is truly 100% woke, and the figures who ride the woke wave are the ones who often find this out the hardest as they ride smack dab into a brick wall when one of their hot takes is taken out of context or maliciously misinterpreted.

I think it's bad timing mixed with being a high profile target.
