Elite is a very clearly defined level in cycling. Rhys has never ridden at elite level and is just nonsense he feeds the ill-informed, gullible, or those he knows will not check because they do not give a fuck.
It is the same bullshit as the 'world record holder' he proclaims. He is not and never has been a world record holder. He had what is reffered to as the 'worlds best' in an age group of the level Masters. Everything he says is pure fantasy and delusion.

Since tear-assing around the yard isn't a sport, I wonder what organized pasttime Rhys was part of at two? Competitive crayon eating?

His focus on the "community building" aspect of sport in this Zwift podcast is really striking. He talks about how your competitors and teammates become your friends when you participate in sports. Everyone goes out for drinks after practice to socialize and have fun. He's absolutely right! Sport is a great way to make friends, especially as an adult when opportunities to meet people start to dwindle. Rhys's local cycling society, the Charleston Coastal Cyclists, have a great time together. Except...by forcing his way into women's professional sport, Rhys has deprived himself of those benefits. He will never be invited to the post-match drinks or included in the silly goofing around between races. In all his competition posts, he's only shown himself actually hanging out with exactly one person (that "Mama Duck" Schwinn woman if anyone remembers or cares). He's all alone because nobody wants him there and he doesn't belong there.

To his call for allies to be "loud and annoying" in their support for troons, Rhys appends this:
"People literally rove around Twitter in packs piling on anyone who dares to speak out in support of trans people. You have to be willing to bear that, that is such a small cost."

I can't wait for Rhys to get back to Canada and realize healthcare isn't as 'universal' as he thinks. Living in a place like waterloo which is a stones throw away from me. You got like almost no options. You want a psychiatrist? Get in the line, it'll take you over a year because Canadian healthcare is way over burdened and what you will get if anything is the quick and dirty. And don't think they'll just buy into your delusions and give you whatever you want. You'll be lucky if you can even get a 5min appointment after months of waiting and they won't care about your fake ptsd. They'll maybe give you an SSRI script for your depression and show you the door. If you dont have proper paid insurance in Canada you don't get much.

Canada is not at all what Rhys thinks it is and I can't wait for the inevitable "This isn't the Canada I remember" chimpout on the way and he ends up moving to mexico or something to teach trans rights to kids who don't speak english
