Most people who had sex with Zeus or Apollo ended up badly. Are you talking about having sex with God? Because seriously, who would say no to that?

Wouldn't an omniscient/omnipresent being be just as aware of the components of an atom as they were of a galaxy, both of them being equally below infinity? I don't think we have any knowledge of likelihood, because we don't have a frame of reference and the criteria might well be something we can't even imagine. That Such a being would exist on such a scale to make it highly unlikely, you're talking about an entity so vast in scope that it'd be like talking to the components of an atom. Granted such a being might communicate but how likely does that strike you? Do think such a thing would honestly care if you draw pretty pictures of it for example?
This is true but from what little we can discern about such a scale would you conceed such a creature taking the role of local tribal deity and how it doesnt like you praying at statues is very very unlikely?Wouldn't an omniscient/omnipresent being be just as aware of the components of an atom as they were of a galaxy, both of them being equally below infinity? Psalm 18 (19) lolCan't just appreciate a scientific finding. Got to bash religion while you're at it.

No, because an omniscient/omnipresent deity doesn't have to divide or prioritize its attention the way humans do. They might do so if their nature leads them to prioritize something, but that doesn't affect what their range of perspectives could be.This is true but from what little we can discern about such a scale would you conceed such a creature taking the role of local tribal deity and how it doesnt like you praying at statues is very very unlikely?
This has been the closest thing to actually lampooning these clowns who treat science as a religion for the past couple of pages.Psalm 18 (19) lol
"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament showeth His handiwork.
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge."
I just like clowning on atheists who act like quranists or IFBs lolThis has been the closest thing to actually lampooning these clowns who treat science as a religion for the past couple of pages.
Because the last couple of pages have been two doofuses trying to argue and refusing to move over the initial fucking point due to conviction of belief, thus reminding me why theological debate is headsmashingly autistic.
Yeah, feels great. Especially since they don't understand the science they worship. It's like cargo cultist tier slop.I just like clowning on atheists who act like quranists or IFBs lol
And yet despite that, he still has a major case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. You'd think he'd be a little more sympathatic to one of the biggest anti-woke figures ever. They're talking about a major evolutionary biologist, and they're shocked that he prioritizes biological facts over the social hysteria of "gender spectrums?" Dawkins is committed to his belief in progress and consistency, if nothing else, to the point that he's already gotten a world of shit for criticizing Islam just as brutally as he criticizes other religions. Opposing social pressure in favor of objective facts is par for the course with him
Also he'd turn into various animals to do it, making him one of the earliest furries, although I think the Sumerian deities got up to that sort of thing too, as well as the Egyptians. The creepy part about zeus is he probably didnt need to rape anyone because he's king of the gods so people would be lining up but did so anyway.
The majority of people on the Left who get canceled fail to realize that the politics they support caused their pain. Lack of perspective plagues subject-matter experts like Dawkins. And yet despite that, he still has a major case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. They treat science like it's an oracle, always awaiting the next pronouncement from the sacred shrine.Yeah, feels great. Especially since they don't understand the science they worship. It's like cargo cultist tier slop.
See I'm coming at this as an Apatheist that's dabbled in Atheism and in my own personal Christian doctrine before I legit stopped giving a shit. I've seen or at the very least tasted the elements, so it really is obvious and dirt simple to see the hypocrisy and broken logic from them. They treat science like it's an oracle, always awaiting the next pronouncement from the sacred shrine.
I do not know everything about my religion, but I do know what I believe. It's not a rationalist "hmm yes I understand this, I am making big think,,, cogito ergo crēdō", but it's not a blind and mindless "the book says it so it's how it is" faith. These euphoric atheists are following a lack of faith mindlessly. Their mindset (and their way of seeing the world) is not much different from someone thumping a Bible or a Qur'an; what's different is their words. They vehemently reject the language of religion while engaging in religious anti-religiosity. The hypocrisy isn't the main reason for the KF thread on them though, everyone's hypocritical -- it's that they won't shut up about how much they hate going to church. It's annoying and nobody cares, yet they feel the need to shove their fedoras in everyone's face.
fuck reddit
Remove the word ”political” from that last sentence and you're bang on the money.
Explain to me why the Apostles would decide to ”steal” a Germanic pagan holiday when none of them ever set foot in Germany?

TBH Easter is closer to Jesus' actual birthday anyway given the season based on what the people were doing in those books being closer to Spring than Winter. Also not like every culture had a spring holiday of sorts anyway.
