DSP again complaining about DoS 2 not having animations and is always in a top down perspective. Rotating back to calling the devs lazy, completely ignoring the fact that it's a crowdfunded game. Larian did everything they had the budget to do in order to release a game that their backers would be happy with and somehow they're lazy hacks.

Phil has a new animation. $50 and over to 'celebrate the gunnars'. He still won't say who is making these because he doesn't know if they want public credit. He apparently has not asked this person if they want credit over the last three days as they have been helping him, and he has said each of those days he isn't sure if they want credit. Okay then.

He then proceeded to remind everyone, twice, that the amount was over $50, but it could be up to $99 to see it.
This then turned into 'woe is me', saying that he rarely if ever gets $50 or $100 tips. He is really desperate to pretend he doesn't live off whales. There is a $50 tip about once a week at least, and he had 2 $100 tips in the last 3 days. It's never enough and he memoryholes everything.

Jakileez then tipped (you know, the person who usually tips the amounts Phil said nobody tips) with the message 'This better be worth it.' To nobody's surprise, it wasn't.
Phil was suddenly giddy. Immediate money buff.
Jaikileez said he liked it. Portrait of a subhuman.
Someone said they missed it and Phil suggested someone tip another $50.

I can't wait for tomorrow when we see the $75 tip animation he is probably sitting on.
Once again, just as a reminder, Phil can play a demo tip to show these animations rather than begging for a tip to see the animation. He knows this and has done it before. This is a scam. Period.

EDIT:

Absolute testament to the quality of his lying. It's obviously visible, Phil just says it isn't there and concocts a lie that makes no sense.

That is pretty low, even for DSP standards.

Hi friend. May I direct you to the DSP Savings and Loan thread. There you can find monthly breakdowns of his bits, subs, tips, YouTube, and Patreon monies from 2018 up to June 2020, when I stopped tracking bits and subs. Tips were further tracked until at least January of this year. The balance is probably not the same now as it was then, but you can get some idea of the trends.

I’ve always low-key thought that the gunner glasses are prescription glasses that Phil avoids wearing normally because he has that stupid mentality that glasses are for nerds. And paywalling them was an easy justification for him wearing them.

Of course, it doesn’t help that they still make him look 20 years older when he does wear them.

He won't. He still has this boomer thought that glasses make you look stupid and only geeks and nerds wear glasses. Why he refuses to put on the gunner glasses for anything longer than a few minutes. If my lore is correct, he is SUPPOSED to wear corrective lenses for driving and even everyday activities, but he refuses.

Oh my god this is pathetic as hell. The hell is wrong with him that he thinks blurring out his former coworkers in a publicity shot to use for making money is okay? Just more proof he'd never be accepted as any kind of professional gaming industry or entertainment talent. He doesn't know how things work, he has never written or signed any kind of equitable contract to treat his peers fairly, and when called out on it he ACTS AS IF THEY AREN'T IN THE IMAGE. Imagine thinking you're some kind of industry insider or expert in any capacity when making money off the blurred out footage of your former co-stars is your go-to strategy for scamming your viewers.

There's always a built in excuse with DSP cause he doesn't make any of the things he uses, be it audio or visual media. Someone else made it, that person is at fault. Your accusation doesn't work I'm afraid.
