I know you're joking but like, he *approves* them. He's the only person with final say about if doing something like that is smart, professional, or mature. All he's doing by actually using something like that, that someone else created, is showing tacit approval. He can't wiggle away from that, he's either the show-runner or he isn't, he's either in charge of what shows up on screen or he isn't.There's always a built in excuse with DSP cause he doesn't make any of the things he uses, be it audio or visual media. Someone else made it, that person is at fault. Your accusation doesn't work I'm afraid.
This is why it's laughable that he acts as if having over a decade "experience" as a streamer is worth a shit. I'd rather hire an actor who had been in one Broadway play as an EXTRA than someone with Phil's idea of ten years of experience. At least then I'd know that they can follow instructions, cooperate with others, and accept being part of something greater even if it meant their name wasn't showing up in lights on the front of the building.
With DSP, it's all about DSP. All of his emotes are of him, all of his donation animations are him, it's all about him, it's about the news he sees on his Twitter feed, it's about his gazpacho-temperature takes on the industry as an outsider pretending to be an insider, it's about his same 2-3 stories about fighting game tournaments. His world is so insulated it's nauseating to even try to comprehend.
