I actively encourage people new to programming to look stuff up on StackOverflow (unless it's JavaScript in which case I just don't recommend learning that first because all the answers will literally be "use jQuery"). It's genuinely the most efficient way to learn.
Adam truly has the problem of being given fish instead of knowing how to fish. I'd be surprised he can even manage to dress himself, who knows, maybe his mom helped him into that dress.

Discrete math is not like regular math that you see in high schools. It's not like arithmetic or even algebra for that matter. It deals with logic statements and is very non-intuitive for most students who take it for the first time. Usually if you work at it and really apply yourself it will gradually make sense. But for our Chibi that's probably something beyond him if he had trouble with normal math in high school. Given how he had trouble understanding loops and int.

Update: As said by @Helmut A Ebne it's the default Latex font. Regardless, only 300+ level math classes ever used it. No physics classes I ever took, engineering, bullshit extracurriculars use it.
