I have this creeping feeling that I'm going to lose my job over this vaccine passport garbage.

I still don't understand how a virtual currency is going to help people through the bad times. When the blockchain gets compromised or the plug gets pulled from your internet access you're fucked. Shouldn't people be investing in more tangible things for their safety and security?

The only thing that'll keep you safe in an actual collapse is a network of friends. Valuables mean nothing if someone can take them from you. Weapons won't go you any good if you're surrounded and alone. Either get some friends, learn a survival skill, or get the fuck away from the shit when it goes down.

I doubt there will be a total "electricity/internet gone" total global collapse. Venezuela has collapsed, but they still have internet. You can still hold your coins (this goes for any crypto) as long as you have your private keys, even without electricity or internet. Of course, you're right, you need to have food and other supplies on hand, and to not do so would be a bad idea. Also, @God of Nothing is right, you can't go it alone.
