🤔

For anyone who isn't familiar with modeling: it has fairly strict standards that are rarely broken. 5'8" to 6'0" is industry standard at this point for most professional gigs. Shorter people don't look as good in clothing. Some supermodels have squeaked by at 5'7", such as Kate Moss with distinguished features and bodies that are so fucking skinny they look taller. At a mere 5'5" and with no unique features or famous parents (i.e., Johnny Depp's kid Lily-Rose Depp at 5'3",) and wearing a size 8 UK/size 6 US (a bit big for a petite model,) Elaine has no future in modeling and was not signed by an actual modeling agency. She was signed by a scam pay-to-play agency that has changed its name after receiving bad press. The fee to be signed? £500/$688. Real modeling agencies don't require payment to get signed.
I'm familiar with modeling and you can have a modest career at 5'5. Modeling isn't just about clothes, it's about any kind of advertising, and there are a ton of jobs for people of all ages and sizes. I "know someone who" is shorter than that and worked fairly consistently through her teens and early 20s doing exciting projects like the instructional pamphlet that comes with a set of electric hair rollers, the back of a board game box, a stock photo style shoot for language learning software, a book illustrating fifty different ways to braid hair, knitting patterns for winter accessories, a print ad for an allergy medication, stuff like that. She could probably even model clothes for small independently owned companies who just want someone relatively young and thin but who'll work cheap for pics on their website or Etsy shop.

But that’s the thing. She doesn’t want to be a model in a realistic sense, she wants to be a famous model who works for Gucci.

If they’re architects, I don’t think they’re under educated.
They might be educated but they've not bothered teaching their daughter crap about how to look after herself.

Also if she were serious about going into Politics, her posting photos of herself in a nightclub, a licensed (you got a loicense for that m8?) venue prohibited to kids, is going to fuck that up nicely. That's a criminal act, and will really fuck with her chances of being in politics if she isn't honest about it. Given she is clearly confused about what day of the fecking week it is, she wouldn't be able to get her story straight.

This is what happens when parents don't bother to monitor their kiddiewinkies internet access.

That's exactly what I meant. She wants runway and Vogue. I know she could be the "older sister" on the back of a Hasbro boardgame graded for 8-10 years olds. She's average-looking and not distracting.

If she was a minor she wouldn't need to photoshop her Passport though, she's just saying she's a minor to try and get her threads taken down
As mentioned earlier, that’d require brains and admitting “lol, I’m 17/18” is a lie.

I’m here now :)
Listen to some advice from an old fart then.
1. You are not a pop star. Broadcasting your life is stupid and self-jeopardizing.
2. If you are just a teenager and not mentally ill (most teenagers appear to be mentally ill so it's hard to tell) you will regret stupid things you did when you were young and left evidence of. So, y'know, don't do it.
3. If you are mentally ill, seek treatment now. Sooner you start better results you'll get.
4. First achieve something in life, then brag about it if you must. Never the other way around.
5. Modeling is a hard work. Prepare for pain and leave you dignity at home if you want to go there. If you are smart, focus on programming.

As for this place, it's an eternal cocktail party for observers, archivists and jesters. You came here at your own will. You can leave at your own will (or be kicked out if you can't be here). We can only work with what you give us, only you can fuel this thread. Be smart.
