Well, maybe not so much doomerish because I'm certain that contractual obligations would prevent her from directly being a part of fan circles like such.
But the appeal to try and have her join them is both pretty sad and funny.

tbf i member she is allowing for fan to make discord, even she thinking to make one official by herself, yet she doesnt want to make the manager work twice since it need another moderation. or it was a short no from manager itself

If nothing else, to avoid feeding too much more into some fans' parasocial delusions.

There's way too many people in the vtuber hellhole who could stand to realize it's better to respect the distance between the talent and the fan community surrounding the talent.

legit question, what use of "(insert talent name) discord" tho. its not like you cant interact with the talent itself? you watch the same livestream & vod? if discussing in live chat style, with many people in it, i assume it will burried fast and you cant join the convo once its burried up.

I mean people don't join some random game company's discord expecting to be able to talk to the developers, in the case of vtubers I join them cause most ping you when one is streaming and they're usually better than YouTube at it, but I'm guessing most people join them because they want to circlejerk about that specific vtuber and talk with other like-minded fags. In Towa's there's even channels to study Japanese for westerners and English for japs

Since MS is seemingly paying Cover big bucks to have their talent play games on gamepass I'll go ahead and be autistic enough to list what I would love to see each chuuba play.
Calli: Hellblade, It's edgy as fuck but provides alot of stuff to talk about which lines up with her aesthetic
Ina: Ori since she seemingly enjoyed Hollow Knight and likes art. Ori games are basically artporn
Amelia: Prey, she would probably get lost super fast but it would be fun
Korone: Rare Replay game by game. It always baffled me that Viva Pinata never caught on with japs since it tickles every fancy they have. She also loves shitty retro games and Rares Speccy catalogue is nothing but that.

It's because that's where the free translation usually are. Plus, it's the easiest way to keep up with even the most obscure activity of the particular talent. For example, how many people would know that some of the girl are having a Pokemon Tournament at Niconico tonight? Or how to order merchs from obscure website with confusing JP layout.

Watching a livestream along with people you know and who follow the same streamer can be quite fun, actually. Okay, if it is a server with 500 members it will probably be the same quality as the livechat, but on smaller discords it's completely different. I'm on a(n otherwise unrelated) server where we did that with all the Haachama schizo arc streams, and it was a blast.

Unfortunately for them, it means the stream shows as having a ridiculous number of viewers for this many hours before it starts. It showed right at the top of my YouTube feed for that reason.

There's little chance that she'll permanently kill any one of them, because like you said she enjoys both sides of it. I don't even think she'll truly end it (yet) because she can just keep it going interspersed with "normal" content.

I'm wondering if they autotuned her voice or something. It's still recognizably her but it seems to be "toned down" somewhat.

I joined the Gura discord to notify me via Discord when she does stream because Youtube is a bitch and won't notify you even if you click the Bell Icon

Yeah, the mixing isn't very good

Matsuri's voice is noticably sharper while Gura's gets drowned out by the music

I can't tell if she's toned down, but I suspect she tried to be more of a supporting/backing voice
