Pissedoffroboprophet is a Tumblrina (whose blog can be found here) who at first glance seems rather average by Tumblr standards. However, a closer look shows that she is actually far crazier, and most notably, far more outspoken than most. Upon visiting her Tumblr, the very first thing you see is the following quote: "Bunny here - zi/zir/zirs pronouns, quoiromantic/pansexual glitch-bot. Read my about and feel free to send me any kind of ask you want - if you're feeling brave enough, that is." This should give you some idea of the kind of person we're dealing with. Now, there are a few things that make this particular Tumblrina stand out. First of all, she has a massive god complex, by which I mean she literally believes she's a god, or at least claims to. In some ways, I agree. You never see shit like this come from people who have actual problems in their lives or who have had to struggle. Anyone I've seen who claims lack of empathy/sociopathy sends up a red flag for "sheltered, pampered upper class idiot who's never had substantial problems." People who actually have lack of empathy do not tell people, think everyone's like them and just a hypocrite, or don't know. These idiots who claim it are telling people, are aware that most people do have empathy and that lack of empathy is decidedly not the norm of a social species, and are fucking tools.

I was also going to say that the fool also just wants an excuse to be an asshole, thus the going on about lack of empathy. It's a weird Tumblrlogic thing, where numbnuts try to claim lack of empathy so they can do/keep doing outright despicable things. It's part of their idealization of sociopathy and this bizarre idea that sociopaths are somehow more logical. They aren't inherently more logical, that's just a Hollywood stereotype. (And even then, if you go by the implications of Hollywood-type idealizing crap in fiction, sociopaths are decidedly not logical in said stories. You know, with the whole constant stream of murderers/serial murderers instead of people who realize that they will make some mistake, they will leave some evidence, and they will get caught for killing people, even if they feel no emotional compunction not to harm another person.)

Thing is such a situation is not a legal defense- even if you lack empathy, you still know right from wrong. Sociopaths and narcissists lack empathy, but their disorders aren't considered legal defenses. They hide evidence of wrongdoing if they do it, which means they know that what they're doing is wrong and that they'll get in trouble for it, even if they will never have a guilty conscious wracking at them for doing horrible things.

However, Tumblrtards are edgelords and want an excuse, any excuse, to keep acting as pricks. Be it claiming lack of empathy or saying that the person they target is some sort of bigot. They have a self-righteousness about them that's unrivaled. And to point things out, that they're whiny pricks who want an excuse to act like children and act with impunity, they then cry oppression.

And the fact that this shithead is legally an adult pisses me off worse. I expect this behavior from a 12 year old who just got on the Internet and wants to make some grandiose statement. This is clearly a brat who needs real life to kick their ass.

Its a fucked up reality I wake up with, go to school with, and go to bed with. And I'm self aware enough to know exactly what I am, what I could be with a single lapse of control, and what I need to do. I don't think they act the way they do on Tumblr IRL. As the victim of a real Narcissistic Sociopath, I thank you so much for this. It is so frustrating when people don't understand how it works or they claim to be sociopaths because of this romanticized bullshit idea of what it is. I just got done fighting for a year to have my sociopath ex's parental rights to our daughter terminated...and then I found HIS tumblr and found out he was claiming to be an account EXTREME EMPATH (also he was telling people that I drowned and murdered our daughter, which is obviously not true as she is alive right now)! He pretends to be intuitive and empathetic, the opposite of what these pseudo-sociopaths claim to be. If these tumblr kids were true sociopaths they wouldn't run around announcing it like they do. I sincerely hope these pseudo sociopaths all end up having to deal with a true sociopath in their lives one day so that they learn this shit is not a fucking game.

Sorry for the sort of OT rant/powerleveling but this tumblrite "I'm a sociopath/I have no empathy/I have ASPD" bullshit always strikes a personal nerve with me. Like, fuck you little edgelords, it's not "cool" to treat people like crap for the hell of it or to trivialize a disorder that puts other people's lives in danger. My 2 year old has an anxiety disorder and I have PTSD from my sociopath (diagnosed by a doctor, not this self-diagnosed tumblr shit).
